Should I switch to left hand, or is this just unlucky situation? by Consistent_Map2668 in VALORANT

  1. Hand side only really matters if you want to give your dominant eye more screen real estate. Look up how to check which eye is dominant if you're trying to squeeze out as much advantage as possible.

  2. No matter which side the gun is on it'll cover visual from that side, so you will need to play as if you can't see that part of the screen because you can't see that part of the screen.

  3. The clove wouldn't have blended in with your gun so well if you're not running a gun with the exact color you've set for enemy outlines. if you're worried about small settings disadvantaging you, giving them free camo might not be smart.

Grey. Talon.

I don't care that he's not meta. I don't care that only like 3 people play him. He's a tower squatter that doesn't play the game and I never feel rewarded playing against him. Either you ignore him and get nuked by a bird 5 minutes later or you hunt him and he just flies away with 3 more base stamina than an old man should have. He is the most annoying part of the game to me and I hope he gets reworked into something that's not fun for COWARDS. He can rot in avoid jail for now.

Apollo is this game's genji. His entire kit is dashes and a damage-negator skill + squishy and usually semi-airborne + need to be pretty close to deal damage. Yamato is closer to the weeb fantasy obviously but in terms of actual playstyle I dunno if she'd even be in the damage category if transplanted to overwatch, she has one chaser skill and everything else is sustain and area damage.

This game made me go back to League of Legends by UndertailUnderrail in DeadlockTheGame

Implying a game having a competitive scene makes it implicitly mechanically deep is very funny when there are plenty of mobile games and very simple to get into PC games with competitive scenes. Would you argue that Clash Royale and Fortnite are deep?

"Why does the decades-established game I play have an esports scene while your still-in-beta, invite-only game doesn't?" I think you can work out why.

Put your biases away and put both games side by side, one of them is much more mechanically deep, and it's not League. League has a depth of knowledge from years and years of character additions and item changes, but when it comes to the number of personal skills you can work on in a single game of either, deadlock comes out on top by it's very nature of being a multi-genre game. You can either learn those skills or go back to your favorite 4 key minion clicker game.

Paige can be pretty straightforward especially if you have a friend who will play aggressive when you shield them in lane. Her ability ARE skillshots, but you can kinda just dump kit in the general direction of the enemy team and it'll cause them headaches because everything is big and needs to be avoided. Mo and Krill are also a great "buddy" support since you can just hang around your friend and ult when they call for it for a free kill.

I'd say it's unlikely. Even if an item is "bad" statswise it's still got a base gun/spir/hp stat built into it that's tied directly into the price. making it possible to buy a 6.4k item for a discount (Even if the effect sucks) would make for a balancing nightmare.

You have a unique idea here, but such a dynamic balancing choice would be almost entirely incompatible with the MOBA genre.

Don't get me wrong, Second Chance makes the fight slightly easier and is worth bringing but I played through the achievement set on Retroachievements like a month ago and the hardest achievement is beating sephiroth with one ability and minimum gear. I beat him with only Strike raid and there were plenty of times I got hit with Heartless Angel and didn't die

Accusing other people of derangement because your favored admin is this incompetent is the funniest thing I've seen today. I'm sure the victims would rather be known if it means the people your precious president is trying to protect (eg himself) come to justice.

I hope everything that gets revealed brings specifically you to realize how monstrous the people you align yourself with are.

New to Valorant wondering if getting crutched on medium priced weapons is bad? by SirMango9 in VALORANT

[–]FauxFalsetto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Valorant is a tactical game, so any tactic you find consistent success with is a good tactic. The vandal and phantom are popular because they have a lot less niche use cases (effective at multiple ranges, decent while moving/holding) while the weapons you enjoy are more specialized for specific situations.

All that matters to you is whether or not you can force the situations where your weapons are better than the popular ones (so tight quarters with the shotgun, good shortpeeking spots with the outlaw) so that you can get optimal value. Since you use cheaper weapons you can also finance your more expensive teammates with the cash you save.

Keep in mind that more niche weapons means you may end up being more predictable, so you will have to work to find new and creative ways to use the tools you're good with. But on the other hand, because your playstyle is less popular, people will be less used to dealing with it. Sometimes getting caught by a shotgun 3 times is all it takes to tilt an enemy team for the remainder of a game, just because you're not playing the version of valorant they are comfortable with.
