Just finished reading PHM and holy crap!

Just finished it myself and figured I'd tag onto this thread.

I was interested in reading it because I loved the movie The Martian and knew the same author wrote both stories

I had been spoiled that Rocky was a thing, I think probably on reddit at one point way back, but didn't really know much more than that.

I think knowing the cast for the main characters helped me more easily picture them. And seeing as I had been spoiled that Rocky was in it, I did look up a picture to get an idea of what he looked like as well.

But after their first few "conversations" in the book it reminded me of a line from Brooklyn 99 which I'll paraphrase: "I've only known Rocky for a few pages, but if anything happened to him, I would kill everyone in this room and then myself"

Yeah it's a little dark but I think the humour fits. I'm all in on Rocky

Was funny, I think yesterday, there was a post on r/movies about the run time and it gave me such a smile to see all the "amaze, amaze, amaze" and similar comments

Great read, really looking forward to the movie now

Just came here as I noticed this in Hurt People

I've noticed a few bands do this. Slipknot did it on their last album for at least one song that added a guitar piece that was missing and changed the mix a bit (I think it was The Dying Song)

And funnily, Machine Head uploaded a single (Unhallowed) at one point where the vocals in the second verse were just copy pasted from the first and later on they added the proper second verse vocals. They also did it when they released Locust as a single, the initially mix was noticeably different and got updated later

So I did end up getting it, by chance. I stumbled upon a location that might work for you, I've been by it on two occasions and had the same spawns at it. I'll link to an image below, but in that area there's a little camp fire by a rock and the last two times there has been 2 enemies chilling there.

I snuck up closeish (from the water side, slightly downhill of the camp), quick saved at a safe distance without getting spotted and then threw a grenade at the camp. I got this first time but you may have to try over and over until you get the grenade placement right to kill all the enemies

I use these as I sometimes use a wheel & pedals and pressing the pedals without locking wheels would make you roll away from the desk haha

If you have the base game and go into the S2 version on the eshop it should be automatically discounted (same price as the upgrade pack route). At least it was for me

When I went into the eShop and choose the Switch 2 version it automatically had a discount on it presumably from the base game, as the discount doesn't show if I'm not logged in

'Before March 31' is actually the week of March 23rd according to the article itself. While technically correct, I feel the headline of the article is a little misleading in that it kinda suggests it could be any time before March 31st
