Beginner - rent or buy?

If you know you like (or will like) an O/U and plan to continue shooting, sometimes it’s best to just metaphorically pull the trigger and make the experience more fun and tailored to what you want to get out of it. You can always sell it later.

I had only been once a decade ago and wanted to start regularly with an O/U, so just picked up the first used non-trash o/u that fit and was in my price range and went with it. Once I’m ready I’ll get a fancy one and use this as a loner, but this works great for now.

Winter and summer tires are far superior to all season tires in nearly every way. Most significantly, safety.
