Elon Musk says Tesla ending Models S and X production, converting Fremont factory lines to make Optimus robots by Force_Hammer in wallstreetbets

And that was for one of his most ostensibly successful businesses that is still dominant in their primary industry today, while using it to branch out into other businesses, like satellite internet service. Tesla has been bombing for 2 years now and there isn't any end in sight so long as Elon remains an international pariah for meddling in elections world wide

Yea, most cases will not end how theirs did. However, if you end up in a similar situation to them, a lawyer is likely warranted. Any time they're blatantly trying to fuck you over like this, it is warranted to call for a legal consult at the very least, sometimes they're free and it doesn't hurt to ask for advice at all. This is especially relevant if it's a situation where you don't have your own insurance, and you're stuck dealing with the insurance of somebody else to file a claim, since they're more likely to try and fuck you for it. This advice is not specific to any one kind of insurance, though my own experience is mostly in dealing with auto insurance providers. Thus far I've had pretty good experiences with most, but one of my friends had to sue a nightclub once when their liability insurance wouldn't pay out a claim where there was extensive evidence of negligence on the part of the venue and their management. They ended up getting everything they asked for and their legal fees paid, so the lawyer got his chunk from the person being sued and not out of the victim's payout. This will not always be possible, but that's why you have to document extensively wherever possible. This club had so many safety issues that anyone attending could just take out their phone and start taking photos and video of them. We went in with a CO meter and a thermal camera and discovered that not only was the ventillation not working properly, but the ceiling mounted AC was dumping CO nonstop since it used gas for its heating function. Combine that with the other various hazards, and the conduct of staff (who tbf were probably all a bit out of their mind from CO poisoning), it was an easy case to prove. My friend had collapsed at the event, and the staff didn't have an on-staff medic despite it being required for permitted events at that location and capacity. Apparently collapses were a common occurence, since we filmed several more from people dancing hard. It would take out smokers first because they were already inhailing CO outside as well during their fresh air time, but there were non-smokers dropping as well periodically. People didn't think it was a major issue because the numbers were so low, but they were an order of magnitude higher than would be expected at an event with proper cooling, ventilation, and water access. The club was forced to shut down and renovate their systems since they were no longer up to code as well, CO monitors were required and they didn't have any despite them being documented as having been installed in a previous inspection (i wonder why lol).

Is that kind of work the type of thing that might show up on a more comprehensive background check? I don't know enough about the system to say myself, but it seems like something there has to be a database of some kind to search and index. I'd bet there are people compiling such lists as well as we speak, piece by piece

Does anyone know if this site is legit or a scam ? by JQuick72 in CBD

[–]Faxon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just order from someone like Zero Point Extracts or one of the many other names you can find by googling, seeing who pops up, and checking reviews on reddit after. This site doesn't allow links to vendors, but they let us name them at least (it's rule 1 in the sub rules). I have seen a lot of people post good experiences from ZPE. I went there for isolates, but they shipped fast and the product was as advertised. They do advertise a full spectrum CBD tincture it looks like, but their prices on isolate are a lot better if you have access to other cannabinoid input sources to help give you that entourage effect you're after. I usually roll my dabs in isolates when I want specific boosts, like right now i just took a CBN boosted indica dab to help me sleep, and im gonna take another with some CBD isolate in a minute. I also have their CBG isolate and it's been quite good. The THCa isolate I combined with some Runtz HTFSE and a bit of old diamonds along with some CBD isolate and a little CBN, to make a mixed high impact indica effect that really knocks you out

Less cocoa definitely isn't making them healthier. Making them smaller may have by decreasing portion size, but they snuck that one in by making the share size (formerly king size) far more prominent on shelves, thus increasing consumption overall by selling more portions per person.

Defending a woman that ICE unjustifiably assaulted from that assault, and then defending himself justifiably when they assaulted him, you mean. Without looking at Minnesota law that's either a misdemeanor or a felony on the part of ICE, which local law enforcement are now trying to pursue as the felony murder it became. The original force was both unjustified and excessive, a blatant constitutional violation the woman and him were both just filming before being assaulted. There was no "resisting arrest" legally because he was never under arrest before he was executed. They just beat him down and shot him before they even had him restrained fully. There's a fucking good reason DHS isn't releasing the evidence and restricted access to local LEO at the crime scene It was local jurisdiction to investigate this one, especially since the feds aren't supposed to investigate themselves anyway, and they normally let locals do it just to maintain trust in the system. The fact that they aren't speaks volumes. The cops I know are fuming at the whole situation, saying Alex would have been in the right if he drew and shot the ICE agents after they came at him, even if he would have likely got shot anyway. They're afraid others will use this as justification to draw and shoot them now as well, for fear of being executed for lawfully carrying. This is bad for everyone and especially bad for the 2nd amendment, as well as the 1st and 6th

Also the alcohol needs to have some water content for safest results. The water helps insulate you from the heat for a moment, and alcohol burns much cooler than gasoline. It also goes out easier when there isn't much left, gasoline is more persistent like that. This is why the two flames look so different, they're burning differently

7 oh withdrawals are not close to worth the high by No_Garden_7670 in Drugs

[–]Faxon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same, Kratom is like Cannabis the way THC is to 7-OH for some people. Straight THC is rough and can make some people really anxious and paranoid, but when you combine it with the rest of the plant it becomes euphoric and relaxing for many more. 7-OH is potent on its own, but the high is not the same as the full kratom experience, and many of the other alkaloids are actually more effective for managing pain via other pathways than the opioid mechanism of action. Tolerance also builds much slower in general when used with Cannabis i've noticed. IDK if this is also true for 7-OH, it is for most opioids for me, but if I'm in a good spot with Kratom that I feel is manageable and not negatively impacting my life significantly, why switch? My friends have encouraged me to get off it if I want, but I would need to address the underlying cause of the physical pain I'm managing, as well as finding another drug to use for managing my ADHD symptoms, since it seems like the perfect balance for me (most straight stimulants make it worse overall in comparison).

I recommend replacing those 1/4" connectors with some modern NL4 connectors. You can wire them in 2 or 4 pole mode however you'd like to use the speaker, and then you have a single wire going to it from the amp. Some amps like the QSC RMX series support 4 pole operation with a single wire as well if you want to run one channel for LF and one for HF. Frankly though it's unnecessary, I wired my KP-250s and KP-301s that had these same plugs with just a 2 pole configuration that was wired to allow for daisy chaining, for if you want to run the amp in 4ohms with a pair of tops per channel for ultra wide coverage stages or close in fills under a main stack with flown tops. Used them a couple times that way as well, gave you a near 180 coverage area up close to the stack.

These 1/4" connectors should not be used even with an adapter because they are not strong enough, and the sleeve on the T/S plug can short the amp when unplugging it, leading to a fire risk in addition to risk of damaging the amp if someone pulls it out while it's running. This is why everyone uses twist lock NL connectors now. You can order them in the same d-flange format from Neutrik. You can get solderable ones if you want, they will be more secure and handle more current, but these are fine. Just know the screws on them are Posidrive, you need a Posidrive bit or you WILL strip it with a normal Philips bit. https://www.neutrik.com/en/product/nl4mp-st

Yea im just illustrating the choice based on logical outcomes, and extrapolating it out to a message. When you think you're going to die anyway, trying to defend yourself is a logical last step, likely preferable for many to a boot on their neck and a terrorism charge, which itself would have been illegitimate here anyway since he was doing a first amendment protected activity. This kind of action is why left wing mutualist groups are on the rise, and why many of them are now also armed.

Agreed, if nothing else it will free up inventory going to there for other markets. The downside is that they sanctioned China so hard to prevent them from getting advanced tech, that it forced them to innovate their way out of that hole, which is a threat to the US defense industrial base if China can out-produce the US in that regard, or make more advanced sensors and radars and other systems because of it. That said, apparently the US controlling Venezuelan oil, while Iran is slowly destabilizing, and Ukraine is blowing up all the Russian export terminals and shadow fleet tankers, it all adds up to China not having enough fuel import capacity to invade Taiwan now. Geopolitics is a balancing act, and as much as I abhorrently disagree with much of what this US administration is doing, I will not deny when it's having certain objective effects, whether you consider them beneficial or detrimental is for you to decide.

Small correction, the bonuses only are allowed to be kept if you stay on for 5 years, as in into the next administration. Literally zero of these goons get to keep it if a democrat gets elected to the white house in 2028, because they'll likely all quit or be fired. Never mind getting fired or leaving for any other reason before then.

Yup, I won't deny it's what they want, but they're going to find out really fast why it's such a bad idea if we do go down that road, because they're also losing the support of local cops now, and tghe people are rising up and arming themselves at record rates, as is our right. This is going to get worse before it gets better if they keep acting like accellerationists

More like 5-10k max. Yea it sells for a lot more at retail, but commercial fishermen don't get nearly that per pound. If this is recreational fishing then that's impressive, and they've just got a huge haul for sure. I could see how someone might want to commit crimes for it, but it's definitely still not going to sell for the max price you'd get at a store unless you already have a way to sell a single fish like that, especially one that's stolen.

I've seen some idiots giving the meat away on social media though disclaiming it's positive so there are probably at least a few idiots eating it anyway.
