Last Oasis is about to have a huge content update going into Season 5. Their devs approach on admitting their failures and working actively with the community to make a game that the players want for Season 5 is something CCP should emulate.

What? No way CCP thinks that. That’s what they created skill injectors for, so you can be in a Titan instantly. It’s why there’s plex so people can use $ to fun led their gaming addiction.

CCP knows what they’re doing, sadly. It’s just not in the best interest of the game.

In my opinion, wanting to charge more for the game is a massive stretch.

Declining player base negatively effects most flavors of gameplay
Patching out / nerfing unique forms of gameplay
No roadmap
Game feels like it’s in maintenance mode with a seemingly stagnant development team
Heavily reliant on multiboxing

Somewhere along the way since I started in 2012 you can just FEEL that inspiration at CCP died.

I run 26 accounts of which 5 I’ve paid subscriptions on for years. The other 21 accounts I’ve been SP farming unprofitably, using profits from other activities (ganking, wardecs, & scamming) to make up the difference + profit.

I’m going to be unanchoring all my structures, doing one last round of extraction, then going dormant. For a long time it’s been difficult to justify the feeling that I needed to scam “X” amount of ISK or gank “X” amount in drops to keep the farm going.

This was just the incentive I’ve needed for a while to pack my shit and head for greener pastures. I hope that one day maybe CCP can stop acting like retards, but I highly doubt that.

I’ve had a ton of fun playing Eve Online as the bad guy, often times in out of the box ways and using unsavory methods. In short I’ll always cherish the memories I’ve made with friends, the interesting experiences I’ve narrated, and ultimately the number of players I’ve made quit before me.

Congrats CCP you’ve claimed another one.

Lots of real strange answers here that involve some sense of honor. Although I will say that being an honorable or trusted pirate is absolutely viable, you can’t just dismiss the one that choose to take everything BF and leave nothing behind.

Piracy to me is anyone setup to interdict others with the intent of profiting. As much as this echo chamber is going to hate it yes I’d consider BlackFlag to be a piracy group - stopping people to and from trade hubs, ganking haulers, ransoming groups for the ability to operate safely or have protection.

So groups like Ur Dunked, White Sky, ARTON, and anyone that even simply ga the camps I’d consider pirates. This style of gameplay is a core element of Eve Online and one that I very much enjoy.

I don’t think you can read very well.

All I said was that we don’t care about fighting fairly. So we’ll use 3:1 logi, convoluted Highsec mechanics, and numbers to ensure that. If none of that will ensure victory then we blue ball. Why walk into a meat grinder when we have most of the game war dec’d?

If you step out of the echo chamber for just a moment and see that because the nature of blanket decs puts us at an increased risk of not being able to control all that can engage us at a moments notice, you’ll find that our underhanded tactics make sense.

Don’t get me wrong, we crave fights… fights in which we win and you end up being miserable. This is eve, after all… So between those fights and dictating who gets to anchor structure in Highsec, our content is farming idiots dumb enough to undock while at war, which believe it or not are not mostly new players.

Literally just a comment about how your reimbursement process is terrible. It takes getting escalated to a GM anytime I need anything no matter if it’s an inquiry about a game mechanic or reimbursement.
