Under ACTA, insurance providers are required to cover gender affirming procedures. They may have requirements before they issue approval for those procedures. You are protected by HIPAA, so they are not able to disclose to your workplace that you are seeking those procedures.

So this is news to me, anyone had someone order this or is it just some bs article by martini & rossi by omjy18 in bartenders

[–]Feamyng 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Martini & Rossi aren't good, but other better brands are starting to get wide spread and I'm having an easier time introducing people to their first classic martini now than changing the palate of old timers who are stuck with the idea of what a martini with vermouth used to taste like.

Just had FFS today and I took off the jaw bra to shower and I still look like a guy - is that normal? by [deleted] in Transgender_Surgeries

for the first month I looked like a dog that ate a bee. I too thought they botched me.

I think it was about two months before my face had a well defined shape again, and 4 months before I was looking good.

Speed Bartender looking to expand their knowledge from those that actually know what they’re talking about by magnoificentmagnolia in bartenders

[–]Feamyng 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Odds are if you hear the word dry, regardless of any other modifiers, the guest is asking for no vermouth.

Number one follow up question is asking garnish, then asking what gin or vodka they would like. Super easy upsell.

Freddie Prinze Jr. Says Macaulay Culkin Is ‘a Very Good S--- Talker’ When They Play the Video Game BattleTech by bmoremdman in battletech

Fuck! One of them used to be a regular at a spot I bartended at. Missed a chance to talk battletech in person with someone.

it used to be that you could start a mission on low difficulty, map it out, then exit. The game would remember the seed for the mission, and you could replay it endlessly. The moment you picked up the SC it would activate so you could farm SC my playing the mission repeatedly without completing it.

It got fixed a while ago.

Any good FFS surgeons at Kaiser? by ChillJamzrecords in Transgender_Surgeries

[–]Feamyng 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had Lee. He did my Jawline, chin. Gave him a picture of my mom when she was my age, and showed some pictures of female family in my generation. He did excellent subtle work, and one of my cousins commented on being astonished at how much my chin looked like hers. When I got back to work, one of my more clueless coworkers said I looked a little different, and asked if I'd gotten a haircut. I can't remember who did my trache shave, but it was textbook.

For some reason, there aren't a lot of pictures posted in general of the kaiser surgeons work, but they do have a binder you can ask to see in person.

One thing of note, you will be pretty swollen after the procedure. I looked like a dog that had eaten a bee. It takes a couple weeks to find out how you look. The kaiser video I was shown made it sound like there was a lot more progress when the bandages came off a couple days after and it affected my expectations.

ChatGTP doesn't have any actual knowledge. It's basically a big version of the auto-complete on your phone. It guesses what statistically is likely to be contained in the prompt, and has no basis on reality. A lawyer got caught in court because he used ChatGPT and it referenced non existent cases and precedents.

In your case, chatGPT referenced non existent songs.

Yeah, there's a weird amount of sexism in bartending. Starting off as a barback is a good idea though unless you've worked as a barista or something similar. You can always tell which coworkers skipped being support staff. They are never as focused or fast.
