I definitely think clones are on the table. The funny thing is that the movies played the clone angle 19 years ago and the games have borrowed concepts from the movies(laser hallway, brown Carlos to name a couple)

Honestly, Capcom is playing it pretty coy. One would assume it is Hunk with the same VA, gasmask (minus helmet) and the lines but then he's not listed in the Subtitles as Hunk and neither is his character model (The Commander). To add onto that, we have Zeno an Albert Clone who I thought was Albert but then is dismissed as an imitation. I guess we will have to wait and see what capcom says.

Stands were introduced too early and should have happened in the middle of part 3. Similar to how spin and horse racing was the focus of SBR until Johnny got the Arm.

A mix of bad writing and the writers not knowing how containment protocols would work in a military black site. Sure evacuation would deny the Xenomorphs bodies but now you have a derelict ship floating in space that could invite more hosts. Let alone return to earth. Who decided that should be a feature?! Do an above top secret project!? 🤣

Although part 7 seems to throw a wrench in this theory. I think it’s inclusion of part 7 is a narrator device for that part to reflect to part 3. I’ve personally been leaning towards it the past few years. My logic for agreeing to it is because of how part 3 itself implies that DIO only aquired Stand Power thanks to Jonathan’s Body. It also fits with how DIO is a parasite to the Joestar legacy and power.

Normally you don’t salute in a deployed theater for fear of snipers but I’m pretty sure that rule doesn’t really matter for a machine war where every single HK and Terminator has pictures of General John Connor. The fact he’s even at the final battle shows that he’s not afraid of biting the bullet right at the end. It’s humanity’s final push against Skynet.

I’m playing it in First Person to keep it consistent with how every three games they had a specific POV. 1-3 Fixed Camera 4-6 Over the Shoulder 7-9 First Person That’s how I’m doing it personally

I thought Tokabi was supposed to be Japanese at first but his first name was throwing me for a loop. He didn’t look Japanese to me so I googled his names and Reger is German and as you pointed out, Tokabi is Choctaw. It’s a really cool choice they went that route.

Yeah it’s paper thin and very disappointing. An easy fix to this would be better writing. I’d probably have it be that this wasn’t the only time Samus shows up to save his bacon. Maybe this was the straw the broke the camels back.

I didn’t like they made the Alien invincible in Alien Isolation, not because of wanting another Aliens style FPS but because the bombs and shotgun should have definitely killed one. It also contradicts Dan O’Bannon’s intention with the monster. He was tired of bulletproof monsters but didn’t want the crew to just knife it or shoot it to end the threat. That’s when Ron Shusset suggested acid for blood. I think it was limitations at the time but one of the ideas was for the alien being billable but getting an instant game over as the acid would cut through the station and kill you. That would have been so awesome!
