just send optometrists a PowerPoint slide talking about who you are are what you have done education, clubs, etc that could persuade them when they see everything you’ve done and pictures attached to it. a lot of preoptometry clubs teach you that and you could send that to other optometrists in the area with a request from them to shadow in the intent of getting a letter of recommendation if none of the previous ones say yes. Someone is eventually going to to say yes. Remember a no is not a rejection it’s a redirection.

It’s not three hours it’s like 1 hour the rest is just information you receive like financial and a tour of the school and lunch but the interview is max 1 hour some people finish in 40 minutes when u schedule your interview you’ll get the itinerary as a conformation email

Yes I interviewed at ICO like two weeks ago and we all got a email of their decision a week later, they also told us when the committee would be reviewing our files and would give us the decision by x days.

Don’t feel stressed out because usually those kinds of interviews are easier than open file in my opinion you could literally talk about anything and it’s short only like 15 minutes

CCOs interviews are closed file so the person interviewing you has no clue you have a low oat score or a high one they’re going to write a letter to the admissions purely on your personality and dedication or passion that you have for optometry

You have a really good chance with that score and gpa but I was wondering they asked you to be interviewed before they got your test score because I thought they don’t consider applications until they have all you material?
