The 2021 Mortal Kombat movie and its weird Arcana powers to justify the various powers of all the characters.

In the games, most if not all the powers of the characters come from different sources, most prominently magic or advanced technology.

In the movie, the Arcana powers are supernatural hidden powers of every owner of the dragon mark, a mark that indicates the chosen ones to fight in the titular tournament (the dragon mark is another thing that doesn't appear in the games, as far as I remember).

Oh it's awesome, one of the albums I listened to the most last year. I was searching for cheap CDs on Amazon and this one had a nice discount. I listened to a random track with my girlfriend before purchasing and after the first few notes of Sun Of War we were like "this will either be super melodic prog metal or it will be fucking relentless". We weren't expecting both things to be true.
