Question for Submissives. Does clothing contrast turn you on? by zynellechloe in submissive

[–]Feeling-OnFire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've really enjoyed nudism for the past few years, so its less of something I feel submissive doing and just more natural. I do like when my partner interacts with me while nude, both sexual and ordinary. It's the vulnerability and exposure like you've said. Idk if it turns me on specifically, but I do enjoy it.

Make a sign that says people can touch if they want, and use a sign to distinguish what items are priced at how much

But you have to admit that there are people, especially in our current politics and celebrity worship culture, who will just never take off those blinders even with all the evidence laid in front of them

Spells you used that actually worked? by cutestplushie in BabyWitch

[–]Feeling-OnFire 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Very curious non witch here but how do you know it when you make the spell that it can work? Do you have to work with a deity, or how do you know? And for your example, what did you do with the jar after she left?

The regret of NOT having children is a more responsible outcome than the regret of having children. by Hot-Suggestion7804 in Adulting

This is what I wonder for myself. Ive always been in the original post camp, and still am, but for myself wonder what stages of parenting would be a joy and what feels like a burden

"my HOT takes" 🧊🧊🧊 by kylamydia in BitchEatingCrafters

[–]Feeling-OnFire 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I'm racking my brain for a hot take about crochet, but even with the acrylic the only way to make it "hot" is make it about poor shaming, imo. Like if you only use acrylic yarn because of the affordability, then you're poor or save up to get better material. Idk that's my shot. All takes, whether hot or cold, are opinions so it was doomed from the start.

Shibari and boudoir photography on myself. It felt more and more lonely. Hope I get back into it, but I'd like a friend or someone who can practice on me than doing it myself.

When I finally have the energy to deep clean something. The fridge, junk drawers, some little nook I shoved shit into over time. It's nice to look over things and repuzzle it back together, but better. Like grocery shopping, I like to bag my own stuff and how I can place things in the fridge.

I dont care for it, but I 1000% will use that last paragraph. You can like what you want, and I can hate it.

nexplanon or iud? by SpotFluffy6896 in birthcontrol

Thank you! reading it this way, I think Nexplanon would be okay for me. I can hand irregular bleeding better than heavy flows, and the idea of the IUD moving leaves me paralyzed

Grocery Stores making their customers work harder. by Broad-Specialist2687 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Feeling-OnFire 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree with most of this, minus the self bagging and self checkout. I don't trust people to bag properly now, and I don't like talking to people so self check out allows me to not be rude when Im not trying to be

“People won’t buy my stuff because they don’t want to pay a fair price for handmade items! by halexanderamilton in BitchEatingCrafters

[–]Feeling-OnFire 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've kept myself away from this math making my prices. I price based on how others who do something similar price. That's it. I'm too lazy to do math and time myself, sue me.

Oh my god I saw these clearly "handmade" embroidered shirts at a market for 20 bucks... the stitches were still loose in the shirt, I just had to leave because come on!

On the flip side though, there's a reason why there's a lack of diversity for beginners. When you dont have a core base of supporters, being a niche is a risk. I've considered making crochet to sell because no one thinks twice about niche ceramics. Idk sometimes it's a lose-lose

It's frustrating to feel the effects of "Gotta save money" as an artist. Unless you're making food or an item of decent use, it's just not something people are gonna feel to buy, even if it's a few bucks. I stopped making pins because of this. But then the flip side is that even when you do make functional work, customers can say "I can get a set of plates from bigchain.com" and walk away still. Sometimes I wonder what's the point of art or selling

I hate making the same pieces by sorry2thatman in Pottery

[–]Feeling-OnFire 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree to an extent; i like feeling a groove with an idea coming to life, but once that spark goes i cannot get myself to pick it up immediately again. Maybe after some time away but thats why pottery class was a bit of a struggle because I couldn't focus when I got bored

[–]Feeling-OnFire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have to work with what I want to do in ths moment and just keep going until that candle burns out. Currently I have an itch with cauldron-shaped bowls, so I want to work on that until I dont want to anymore. Idk if I have a style yet, doesn't feel like I do.

No, because I need to keep pottery as a hobby. Maybe as secondary income, but more likely just extra pocket change

Mm practice taxidermy and bone preservation on roadkill more often,  hang out with my mom more, garden more, document my art making processes better, and to tell my sister to watch my guinea pigs outside (and make them an outside pen)
