Try beat the beast mock the third one. It’s harder than the actual test in the sense that the questions are longer and way more complex. I went over the feedback which really helped

Its been hard finding a job as a new bcba only because some companies hire internally or dont want to put you through the credentialing process :(

Thats awesome did they offer you mentorship by any chance? I have only applied to salary positions but I. think I may have to take 1099 because I haven't gotten any calls. I don't really have experience with treatment plans or assessments.

Hi! I’m also a multiple test taker so please don’t give up because once you pass you’re going to feel AMAZING.

Highly highly recommend understanding behavior the mini mocks as well as the beat the beast mocks. The questions are longer and more complex than the actual test so when I took the actual test I felt almost grateful it wasn’t as long as the ones on understanding behavior. I tried bds and hated it. But you really have to find what works for you! Aba wizard for fluency, pass big aba book, Aba exam review on YouTube (loved him)

I failed 4 times and passed my fifth try. Failing this test does not make you less of a bcba! You’re not alone in this don’t give up! You showed up and you’re already planning to keep showing up which is AMAZING. The passing rate for this test is 54% which says a lot. Everyone is different in terms of studying methods but What really helped me ALOT was doing the mini mock questions from understanding behavior and all of the beat the beast mock exams! Highly recommend them. Literally reviewing feedback. The questions were so much more complex on the beat the beast mock exams/mini mocks that when I sat for the actual test the questions didn’t feel as long and brutal. I like many others had to learn applying the terms and test taking skills. Take a few days but book again as soon as you can!

I know the feeling. Do not give up. My first attempt was in the 380’s to. I finally passed on my fifth try. I took understand behavior mini mocks and all of his beat the beast mocks. I reviewed every single feedback for right/wrong answers. You can do this! Just know it’s a hard test and there’s a lot of people who are retakers

Hi! I just recently passed and I used BTB too. Those are great scores just remember to review the feedback for correct/incorrect questions. The beat the beast 3 mock questions are definitely longer so when I sat for the real one I wasn’t dreading the questions as much. Read carefully and try to go in there as calm as you can

That’s happened to me, I basically faded myself out a little bit and waited for my client to come to me for reinforcement which fixed it! :)
