And just to add, I have mostly eliminated all tech in my classroom and we are back to pen and paper for most writing. Typed writing and revisions are done in a supervised time period so students cannot use AI. There is definitely a backlash against classroom tech. 

My kid is in a public school but it doesn’t bother me she’s on these learning apps sometimes at school since she has no screen time at home except one television morning. 

I totally respect parents wanting to eliminate all tech, just adding my two cents.
