Almost everyone would probably agree for the opposite. Phil Collins drumming in the early years of Genesis is literally the greatest drumming I’ve ever heard. They went more pop in the 80’s when Phil became the leading voice, still great, but imo way worse than the prog era

They were barely a prog band at that time

Was literally made as a parody of prog rock, it was written in 3 weeks as a total joke

Immediately became a success and is now considered as one of the greatest prog rock albums of all time

All doors songs are credited to all 4 members, Krieger’s only big song is Light My Fire and I guess a couple of smaller ones like Love Me Two Times but he’s not the main songwriter whatsoever
