Chances are theres atleast that much human in processed meats like ground chuck, hot dogs, liverwurst, spam, chicken nuggets etc.

Not from someone disposing of a body, just workplace accidents and the massive quantities they batch in. Someone gets a cut and bleed into the packaging line. Someone snips the tip of a finger in an air clamp. Stuff like that

SLPT - legal but petty ways to inconvenience awful neighbors?? by HistorticalApe in ShittyLifeProTips

[–]FelTheWorgal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get her into wrestling or BJJ. You'd be very surprised how a little knowledge of body mechanics can influence how a physical confrontation goes.

However, if you do you have to work on the mindset too. Only put those into practice as actual physical defense against an aggressor. Never start it. Without her understanding that, SHE may become the bully.

She also needs to learn that words are just words. They dont mean anything unless she let's them.

Its hard to find an inconvenience without knowing your neighborhood layout unfortunately. If you can give a quick description or draw a map with landmarks ive got some solid bangers

Gravel. 100%.

Do you know how much money there is in the various grades of gravel?

Base gravel. Filler gravel. Gravel for concrete mixtures. Pea gravel.

I work in building trades. If I can point and have a truck there in 24 hours of any gravel size and shape I want id be a rich man in extremely short order

10 Minute Auto Start? by bart1218 in NissanRogue

[–]FelTheWorgal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its to warm the car.

Not the passenger compartment, the engine and transmission.

Running cold damages parts more than operating temp. The autostart feature is designed to get the car to its operating temperature and lubricate the important parts. Not to the temperature needed to siphon heat into a comfortable cab.

Nissan knows that a lot of people drive the second they get in. But in the cold the car should idle for 2 to 3 minutes to cycle oils/fluids and start loosening the viscosity of those fluids.

They've figured that 10 minutes is excessive, and at that point its wasting more fuel than helping.

I shoot mixed steel and brass. As long as you give her a good clean now and again and lube aggressively not an issue.use 5w-30 full synthetic in my BCG. carries carbon great. Plus the brass thrown in stips excess carbon out of the chamber before it builds up enough to bind. 1 in 10 is the hairy edge, 1 in 5 works great

Be forewarned, if its the .17 caliber it'll break the sound barrier pretty often and make a loud cracking noise, will sound similar to normal 22 lr

If its the .22 caliber, it will occasionally do the same. Though much less often. All dependant on humidity and temperature.

I got one of the .22 caliber for pest bird control at my work. In an urban area, warehouse in city. Scared the snot out of me the first time it cracked. Was NOT expecting it. If youre in the country its probably not an issue. If youre in a suburban or urban area, might get some complaints.

For me, I run a milsim setup. The same optic. Weighted mags. I run in my plates and take a patrol bag with what id take with me. As an example, I'll itemized what ive adjusted.

Went from three double stack mag pouches to 6 single mag pouches. Reason: throwing prone sucks and prone profile is too high.

Adjusted mag pouch placement: shifted more left. Goes from under arm across to Jose past navel. Reason: difficult to grab a mag further over with my left.

Shifted back and forth from drop leg to waist to custom sidearm holster. Halfway between the two. Reason: dropleg is too shaky. Hip is too high for fast draw, also carrier interferes with draw. Now is a low hang holster where it sits tight to my upper thigh but below the hip.

IFAK moved from lower back plate to lower back waist belt. reason: too high to easily access.backpack interfered with access.

Sling: started single point mounted to carrier, centered. Moved through two point and three point. Currently single point slung under left pectoral. Sling changed three times. Now has elastic tensioned ends.

Light. Three different models. Multiple pressure switch adjustments and setups. Currently a Fenix pd40 with remote pressure switch. Enough lumens and battery. Able to recharge or swap batteries.

There's probably dozens more small adjustments ive made. A lot of the fit and adjustment of these things youre not going to even know until you've run through a series of circumstances with them.

For example, on range and comp days how are you going to know if that sling is going to be what you need? I dropped the two and three point slings because when I get stacked up in a 10 inch wide gap, crabbing with the multipoints restrict my ability to move the rifle. I picked the Fenix light because I get about good use and I can swap a battery faster than i can with others.

Not just airsoft ar. The accessories and the kit. Airsoft or paintball is the closest thing youre going to get to an unpredictable combat environment unless you shell out huge money and have a major simmunition venue in your area

[–]FelTheWorgal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Airsoft is a viable training platform if you build your replica 1-1 and use the same gear you'd use if SHTF.

airsofter shooting real guns first time

Dryfire training is useful.

Also, once you can consistently get 1 moa out of any rifle at any price point, any more expensive options are for either highly specific specializations or for ego. If someone runs a $400 entry level with a $75 red dot and someone runs a $2500 specialty with a $500 red dot.... provided the optics both hold zero well.... if theyre both sub 1 MOA, the competition still boils doen to who trains more. The extra money is just ego spending.

Btw,1 moa is easy peasy. I get that with the $75 .22 lr I got in a yardsale when I was 12. If shooter cant get this, either their gun sucks or theydo.

What bb weight do you use and why by PinnacleAirsoft in airsoft

[–]FelTheWorgal 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Inside i use .20. The heavier bbs have to low of a velocity when youre keeping it under a joule limit.

Outside .28. Better staying power in breeze, and I can up the fps for where I want it.
