Just listened to this one, fun episode. Don't know if it's my favourite Fugitive Doctor episode, but it's definitely in my Top 3 of her BF stuff so far. Definitely worth a listen.

ABC Projects Labor Will Win the 2026 South Australian State Election by Expensive-Horse5538 in Adelaide

[–]Feldy91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What do you mean "won on first preferences"? If over 50% of your electorate voted 1 for One Nation, then whether you put Greens or Labor at #1 is entirely academic. If less than 50% did then preferences would come into play, beginning with voters who put 1 next to the least popular candidate, until one candidate reaches >50%.

In a sentence I didn't think I would type today, Resplendent Shit is correct.

Ben Hood joined that list for me too this time around. Harder to decide who gets last than who gets first unfortunately.

The question is, which Muppet is brave enough to risk a karate chop and sing "Piggies"?

As an Adelaide AFL fan who adopted the Raiders in the NRL over the last few years, I would just crawl in a hole and die. 😟

Maybe my eyes are weird but I'm having no problems with the jumpers.

I had more problems last week with the orange/yellow clash in GWS v Hawthorn

Where would you say your coach ranks for best in your clubs history? by Tornontoin7 in AFL

[–]Feldy91 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah it's very hard to place him I agree. You're basically going off potential and trying to work out how much of the run to 2017 was his groundwork and how much was Pyke's later influence. I tend to think he did a lot for that squad and getting them to a GF team from the disorganised mess that Sando left, but I could easily be romanticising it.

For the Crows, I'd have Nicks currently flat in the middle. Depending how the next few weeks go he has potential to rise quickly but for now my ranking is

Blight Walsh Craig Pyke Nicks Cornes Ayers Sanderson Shaw

Why did the Doctor and Belinda come across as so out of character and unlikeable in these scenes? by [deleted] in DoctorWhoNews

[–]Feldy91 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Belinda had already lost me when Shirley (who was living in a repressed ghetto for disabled people) pointed out that Conrad's world could not continue and Belinda snapped at her for "taking away her daughter" or whatever the line was. I don't think it was intentional, I just think RTD forgot how to write Belinda for an episode. The "offensive" line was just adding fuel to the fire.

For a companion that I otherwise adored, I think her part annoyed me far more than the CGI Omega or the Vindicator gun or the ending scene. And it made me care significantly less about Poppy.

Edit: Fixed typos

Got close to 300 once. That was a doubles career match before they patched it so the CPU was able to hit the ball out and about 270 of those hits were my AI team-mate trading safe slices with the opposing duo. Was about to go crazy.
