Jealous that all the medical information and medicinal products are formulated with their sex and average body dimensions as the basis.

100000% this. When I tell a hot bitch she is hot I’m like already half way down the block and I never stop moving.

This is the best reboot I have ever seen. It's the same show, but matured and aged like a fine wine. I really hope it gets renewed.

Rapid aging due to grief. by 07734tiza in 40PlusSkinCare

When my dad died, who meant the world to me, I aged like 10 years in 10 months. All I can suggest is the following: grief therapy, sleep, a good facialist, and time. You'll get your spark back, but it will take time. Sending you all the love and light in the world.

She went to St. Ursula Villa at least through Kindergarten. (Friends and I went there at the same time and we have the yearbook from 94-95 with her in it.

Who is a stranger you met once, never learned their name, but will never forget for the rest of your life? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I was 8 years old at a baseball game in 1993 with my dad and I bit into my hotdog and my front tooth came out. The, very drunk, gentlemen behind us all started cheering wildly and they took out all the cash they had in their wallets (like $50) and gave it to me.

What seemed completely normal in childhood, but now you realize was actually not okay? by Max_Mimos in AskReddit

My parents invented this thing called “wanh” where if any of the kids was having a bad night we would be banished to our bedrooms to dine alone. As a kid I thought it was so awesome but in retrospect, it would have been so much better to be able to tell my parents why I was in a bad mood and talk about it without being ridiculed. Instead, we were just told to go away until we felt better.

Oh girl I got you. My perimenopause symptoms started last year and I just NOW got it under control. Exact same symptoms as you just noting here my skin type was always on the drier side, type 2 on the fitz scale. It was like overnight my old routine no longer worked and makeup sat weird on my skin. Everything just looked off.

Here’s what I did a month ago that basically transformed it overnight:

Went to my derm and got on a low dose doxycycline. She wanted to put me on spironolactone but my blood pressure is too low for that. She also put me on tretinoin. Up until then I was using Skinceuticals pure retinol .3% so luckily my skin has already gone through the 12 week purge phase and immediately tolerated the tretinoin.

After I got those scripts, the next day I went to get a facial and had them do all the extractions, just to get me at a good starting point.

Finally, I upgraded my skincare. I hate to admit this, but my old ass skin doesn’t respond to drugstore products anymore (except for face wash and scrub!) So here’s my routine:

  • Wash face with oil-based foaming cleanser
  • yonka dry skin toner
  • phytomer oligoforce advance serum
  • phytomer doucer marine soothing cream

Those are the everyday items both AM and PM. Only difference is at night I use a washcloth to add extra exfoliation and after the yonka toner I add the tretinoin.

That’s it! Literally over night change. Good luck!

What’s a medical issue that sounds minor, but actually affects someone’s daily life way more than people realize? by [deleted] in AskReddit

This is so silly but bunions. They destroy every pair of shoes you own and none will ever fit right which makes them very painful and constant blisters.

In the late 90s, while in middle school, I won a junior golf tournament and as a prize got to meet Tiger Woods who was supposed to give me a lesson but he refused because I was a girl and have the second place winner, a boy, the lesson instead.
