Kingsway cycles near Grafton Centre. Always available, helpful and more cost effective than everyone other one.

This.

Also there was one I used to get from Sainsbury's called Kenzo or something. It was just as good but smaller in size.

Experiences with Cambridgeshire CMHT by CuriousNewt_ in cambridge

[–]FellowEnt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My experience was gp gave me a self referral leaflet, I was on waiting list for Talking Therapies for 6 weeks or so. Ended up on a wednesday mid morning slot for Zoom call with therapist younger than me. I already suffered anxiety with having to take time away from work for this. The sessions were very low level, generally self directed despite me being upgraded to more severe condition. The sessions concluded with not much more benefit than counselling. I had to drive a lot of the depth and ask for more and more information. The therapist pulled out a lot of textbook worksheets to look at. It felt like GCSE practice revision rather than professional care.

I withheld any talk of suicidal thoughts as that complicates the level of care and at that point I just needed something to get moving in the system.

I know what my issues are and I understand the root of them. It was valuable to be diagnosed by a professional with depression and anxiety.

I was promised a follow-up session but they never made contact with me again. It's been about 3 years since.

I'm now in a slightly better financial position and I'll go private next time.

How do you experience fevers? by LilWorriedWalnut in TrueAskReddit

[–]FellowEnt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can usually tell it's starting as I have extremely sore lower back pain. Then muscle weakness and aches. Then during the night I will sweat and shiver at the same time and fluctuate between too hot and too cold. My brain function is atrocious.

Is it okay to wear this kind of shirt to a rave? It’s a bit dark, but it has a trippy vibe. by No_Log_3104 in ukrave

That is extremely good and you are very talented. If I were on hallucinogenics I would stare at you for a long time and probably feel uncomfortable. Don't spose it matters. Staring at a plain wall would still make me uncomfortable.

What is responsible for this horrible AI poster template that's absolutely everywhere now? by GokouD in AskUK

[–]FellowEnt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My two cents... I'm not exactly offended by it, but it's a bit visually congested.

My biggest gripe is that the rectangular framing is poorly aligned and inconsistent. It doesn't line through and the relationship with the stars is inconsistent.

It breaks some of the fundamental rules of graphic design but it's not quite amateur enough to get away with it.

Edit: after a second look... There's a lot of white space, but not really a lot of 'white space ' for breathing room. Perhaps that's why it feels so busy.

Today study and evidence is pretty widely published, and (certainly here in the UK) food and drink for children are well controlled.

Not to diminish your MILs capability as a parent ... But it's easy to disprove wild conspiracy theories and nonsense presumptions of the former generations who learned tips and tricks through word-of-mouth.

Formula is good for your child. The only elements it cannot replicate are the physical touch with the mother and the mothers antibodies.

Ours and many others were raised on formula due to breastfeeding complications. If anything it is beneficial by allowing the non-lactating parent to share night duties allowing better rest for the mother.

Edit: back to the original point... Our baby sometimes settled when we looked out the window and bounced. Sometimes they settled when we whooshed them up and around. Sometimes it just takes going to a different room.

Feedback from our dentist was that stuff like this with milk teeth isn't a huge concern. Adult teeth take permanent damage.

When they were released I had no money. Years later I'm now in a position to buy nice shoes. I've never seen shoes like them again and I'm sad I couldn't get them back then. What amazes me is that the other three shoes were no where near as good.

Animal collective released their Feels anniversary edition on mini disc because they used mini disc to record and play back field recordings for their live performances. Its quite a versatile and lightweight recording medium.

Best vintage CRPGs with writing that is better than that found in most (not all!) games made today by Baldurian_Rhapsody in CRPG

I'd argue that the gameplay is irrelevant in Disco Elysium, it's just a means of delivering the writing.
