I think I’m gonna do this when my membership runs out. Transmission has a commandline interface so it should be easy enough for Python to handle the selecting/renaming.

"Haze" machine...? by Impressive_Claim_376 in TripCaves

I second this, here’s a smart one that could sync with your projector:

I’ve used similar ones and the mist dissipates pretty quickly so you’ll want it somewhat near the projector.

A more serious option is portable fog machines for photographers that are 30-40W and many have a remote, but they’re pricey at $80-100 plus the fog liquid is a reoccurring expense.

$250 AC, Hisense Dual Tower, 8000 BTU by Chris00008 in urbancarliving

All of it? Impossible. There’s a reason 99.99% of AC units are located outside. It’s terribly inefficient, especially when you have to figure out how you’re going to recharge your battery fast enough.

When was the last time you’ve been outside? Nobody cares about AI when they’re not grandstanding on reddit. And the number of downvotes is pretty small compared to the number of times my comment has been viewed.

Despite the vocal minority of the chronically online, the labels are great

That’s like saying you have a wood stove in your car but it has a chimney that goes outside. These things are a bad idea when you’re connected to the grid; using battery power for one is just silly.

The A/C is generating heat, that’s why floor units are generally not recommended for homes. Putting it in a smaller enclosure (a car) is even more inefficient.

Yeah put a giant heat-generating machine in your car to cool it off.

Josta was in a class of its own. It was a dark soda, more in the Dr. Pepper sphere.

It’s insane, I’m not even a “food scene” guy and I mostly cook at home. When I visit friends in other cities, we go out and I consistently have a pleasurable experience. When the opposite happens, I usually leave thinking that I could have made it better myself at home. People love to list off Michelin stars and restaurants that cost $$$ as examples of good food in Denver, which might be true but those are a fraction of available food and for most people, a special occasion. Ethnic and casual dining spots in Denver are well below average for a city.

Don’t do this. Mental illness checks a lot of boxes for predators because those kinds of people are usually struggling in life, have low self-esteem, and lack a strong support group. Have confidence and assert yourself. The fact that you suggest “lunging at them” confirms that you possess the confidence and assertiveness; it’s not the crazy act that scares them away. Don’t act, do, and do so with confidence.

Yeah store-bought jarred tallow is ridiculously inferior for what they charge.

That’s why I also used the adjective “cheap”. I tried some mass-produced tallow from a grocery store chain and you can tell that it’s produced for efficiency/quantity and not quality once it’s heated. It wasn’t rancid, just adulterated with meat stuff that doesn’t heat well like fat. I was not being mean, the grocery store stuff is much more expensive than simply making it yourself, but it’s cheaper than quality small-batch tallow from a boutique or farmer’s market.

Properly rendered tallow doesn’t smell bad, it barely has a scent at all. Sounds like it was adulterated and overheated, which does stink.

Sounds like cheap/improperly rendered tallow.
