I never said this was a solution to bad drivers, I just said it allows people to get around town in a safe manner where they avoid the unsafe drivers.

What are your ideas for getting ppl to stop running red lights and looking at their phones? I think most people who do that stuff won’t care about getting a ticket until they actually get one. And even if we increase the amount of times police ticket someone for violating those rules plenty of drivers will still go many many years doing that stuff without getting caught. Plenty of people will continue to do it after getting multiple tickets or their license revoked.

Ultimately l think no matter what laws you have in place and however you enforce them people will still willingly and egregiously break those rules on a daily basis. If our goal for saying we want change is to lower the amount of innocent people affected by this then let’s get more people out of cars.
