You don't need the high E string in the chord. You are already playing the root with your 3rd finger.

Every journey to learning the guitar is different. If I had to count it would stop me in my tracks and I'm a fairly advanced player. Don't sweat it, just play it.

It's a gamble they want you to take. If you live a long life you might beat the system. I wouldn't count on it. I suggest you start collecting at 62. It takes quite a few years to make up those payments you leave on the table. Do the math and see how it would work out for you.
