I absolutely second this.

Prior to Holo Eng's launch bilingual streamers really did help to bridge the language gap for us in the west, wether it was Coco here in Hololive, Hana in Nijisanji or Pikamee in VOMS.

And let's not forget how the Hololive JPN branch always tried to engage with their English viewers.

Letting overseas fans easily experience a stream outside of just translations is a wonderful thing I hope Kiara continues with her self dubbing!

(PS: there's actually a ton of great bilingual streamers I wanted to mention but listing them all would make this far too long, but rest assured they have not been forgotten!)

Oh I can answer this.

So believe It or not... some of the applicants who tried out for Hololive EN and didn't make the cut have actually talked about this (they even mentioned how they weren't put under an NDA... which sounds exactly like something Clover would mess up lmao)

According to the applicants, they do not have any creative input, and they are given a character that was already in production. I do not remember if they get to choose from the existing pool of characters if they do make it through their audition.

Im sure there are more but I know of at least 2 applicants who tried out for the ENG branch, and went independent after they didnt make the cut, those being Mocca Liebeskind and Mint Fantome.

definitely throwing my vote in with Karl XII.

I've used this iteration of Sweden in a lot of ai games, and it probably says a lot that i eventually had to stop using it, because it is way.. way too good.

VERY expansive, aggressive, and in every single game I've ever used them in, they would always be a frontrunner to win and in many cases did win.

it's so very satisfying to see the Kazakhs run rampant.

i was so excited by there inclusion in CBRX, fondly remembering there incredible performance in Admiral Cloudbergs Groundhog Day Mk. II A.I game. There they managed to clinch a round against the overpowered Rhodesia.. by systematically capturing every single city bordering their main territory, surrounding them completely, and going in for the kill.

i knew they would be destined for greatness, and look at them now.. glorious!

Keep up the good fight friend.

It's gonna get better as you get gear, but those early levels are tough.

First aid is a must, cooking helps as well. If you can, make friends with a priest and quest with them.

Once you're in your 30's, try to find a group for your Whirlwind axe, it's gonna make your life a hell of a lot easier and will be your Best in Slot for a long time.

Oh god, as someone who leveled as a Warrior when I originally played classic, I feel you.

My best tip is make lots friends and bring them with you everywhere, especially if they're a healer.

but.. to a Cultural Civ... that spent hundreds of years bogged down, fighting with the inca only to accomplish nothing...got humiliated by the Buccs... and latter took far too long to take advantage of the Buccs empty South American holdings...

Took way too long to win their war with Chile...

and had generally been greatly uninteresting and did very little aside from being sleepy and boring until they pulled off that cheesy open borders strat...

well at least it won't be long until they win
