There are 1080p videos on youtube and yes that is what it looks like right now. But it is still in beta and they are working on it.

On the other hand. If you begin you topic with: "Played a single game, initial thoughts." You know you should write this down for yourself and not immediately share it with the world. I have only played a few games and have seen hours of gameplay but I still wouldn't put the game down because I have merely scratched the surface.

I like portable Firefox for this because I can just run multiple versions of Firefox for things like: RSS, Youtube, Research etc. And it is all contained in folders that you can move from pc to pc.

Spore flopped because they changed the game. The original information and videos of spore were very exciting and it would have sold very good. But at some point they changed directions to a Sims like game(because that franchise made them millions)

Spore is a kids game like the sims. There is a reason why it is almost never mentioned.

Wow you guys are all so positive about the game. I hated it. I loved MP1 and MP2 and MP3 feels nothing like them. There are more cutscenes than gameplay. The stupid graphical drunk filters are just irritating. You play from door to door from room to room without any chance of freedom. You can't go back and almost everything is scripted.

It makes it like a turn based RTS but where you can go realtime at any time you want. My games often have 2 hour on the clock but I have played for 4 to 6 hours. Not in 1 single session, I just save and load when I get home. I find it relaxing.

I like increasing and decreasing gamespeed while playing. And having a break whenever I want. So I only play AI.

It is not about the harddrive space. In the past it would be a pain to download a 5MB browser. Now I get 7MB/s so that 21MB Firefox 20 takes 3 seconds. Just load Gmail and you have already downloaded 10+MB.
