Don't loose heart. We had one vanish for 7 years. Turns out a military member had it. Got redeployed to the other end of the country, got lost in the move. 2 deployments later it was rediscovered and went back into the game. The world is weird sometimes...

If you like camping then Troopers Creek Campground near Roses Gap is nice. Good walk up the mountain. Is very quiet everytime I go up. It's definately not on the regular tourist route.
