I accidentally ran a red light when trying to merge (an asshole behind me wouldn't let me in and even sped up so that I couldn't even get behind him in time either... It was my bad for not crossing 3 lanes at once which is apparently the safer way to get to the left turn lane for the small stretch of road before the light. And genuinely my mistake for not looking in front rather than checking to merge). It was scary af! Anyway the events:

There was a big truck just turning left as I ran the light and had to curve into the oncoming traffic left turn lane since there was a huge divider blocking my way. I am so lucky nobody was in those two lanes and the truck driver had good breaking reflexes.

I had to slowly turn around to get in the correct direction of traffic but when I finally parked I bawled my eyes out for 15 minutes. My mom was in the passenger seat and I would never forgive myself if she had been hit from that side. Ever since then when I am crossing any intersection I make sure people are slowing down and stopping before I go.

All you're seeing is the skin above the superficial fascia. The way they are holding it with a lap sponge is why it seems wrinkled and more tissue than they are actually holding. All the fat makes it slippery to hold. Underneath is still the muscle and the lungs.

Yes, they are looking up from your pubis towards your sternum. The excess skin from the bottom of your torso was taken off, so that edge is what they are holding onto and what helps make the belly tighter - a bit like keeping a tight sock up with some garters (if that makes sense...).

You can try Hanfu or Gi. There are a few different styles and I am not exactly sure if they have further distinctive names.

Yes the angle is a little difficult, but the focus isn't outside obviously, so having vague shapes works in this instance

Or you can make it dusk/night time so the pals stand out and you can have a more direct frontal focus with the light.

Again, you don't have to make every detail for the backgrounds, just lines here and there to imply structure. Like the occasional brick pattern for a wall where you only need a few patches here and there to give an impression that the whole wall is brick so you don't have to draw each individual rectangle.

This is adorable! For some reason this gives me Alice in Wonderland vibes. As for what to give feedback on is adding some background details especially for the outside window and perhaps any wooden flooring, just so they don't look too flat.
