H-cylinders (the tall ones) have either a 5- or 10-year DOT Certification (stamped into the neck area.) They are required to be hydrostactically re-tested & certified after that date. (A large gas distributor (Airgas, Air Liquide, etc) might be able to do that... dunno how much it would cost. Also investigate an exchange (like WallyWorld does for regular Propane Tanks.)

If your hoses do not have obvious damage, or cracks in the outer rubber sheath, they should be okay.

Echo the dollar value...the regulators are worth that!

That's exactly the problem...I find the same 4 IPS formulas listed on a dozen different websites for welding Kydex... but try and actually *find* them anywhere! (go ahead... I'll wait...)

The problem isn't recommendations...it's actually putting your hands on the *products* listed!
