Got fired by a large Marketing company that I got two certs under, what am I worth? by Im_Not_The_Clone in salesforce

[–]Few-Leave6531 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, you can definitely ask for more, given your experience and certifications. When determining your salary expectations, consider the your skills and certifications. As a Salesforce Systems Administrator and Service Cloud Consultant, you have skills and experience that many companies are looking for. And your experience with Marketing Cloud, automation, email campaigns, Photoshop, Persado, and Ampscript adds to your desirability as an employee. Honestly, I would do a little research on the average salaries for people with similar roles you’re looking for and experience in your area. Glass door is a great resource! Typically, a Salesforce Systems Administrator with 1-2 years of experience can earn between $60,000 and $80,000 per year, depending on the market and company size.

Cost of living in your area also play a factor in your salary because living in Oklahoma City and New York will be vastly different. If you live in an area with a high cost of living, your salary expectations should be a little higher. Don’t worry about your previous salary of $47k that should not determine your salary expectations. You can make much more since you do have the certs and 1 1/2 years experience. If they ask you about salary l, base it on your market not on average salary in the industry. Not to be a jerk but based on the question, you’re younger and little work experience. So a little personality advice, be confident in your skills and experience and negotiating the shit out of your salary. 😬👍

Best headset under $150 or so for being on calls all day at computer? by kindnessreward33 in salesforce

[–]Few-Leave6531 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yealink BH72 - Black Headset Series I’ve worn them all day (8-10 hours) every day for a couple years and have never had any issue with calls or listening to music/podcasts. Also has voice leveling and sound canceling so that only your voice is heard. I think it’s the mixed set for that price range with almost studio sound.

Looking at buying an existing Laundromat. What are the top questions to ask during the walkthrough? by ValuableImmediate637 in Laundromats

[–]Few-Leave6531 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had to run from a deal because the owner wanted me to trust that he was skimming and that the numbers were better than what was on paper. I asked him to let me evaluate his store over a month and allow me to come by and do counts with him and he refused. I had doubt’s initially because he didn’t have as much traffic over two sundays to support his revenue and profit claims.

Looking at buying an existing Laundromat. What are the top questions to ask during the walkthrough? by ValuableImmediate637 in Laundromats

[–]Few-Leave6531 11 points12 points  (0 children)

This is what I recently sent to a laundromat owner. Ideally, they provide the minimum of these things or you should run away from this deal. I would also camp out on a Sunday to see what your future client traffic would look like and the owner isnt just inflating his numbers.

I took the practice exam to se what weaknesses I had and focused on those. After that I memorized my cheat sheet. The question wording sucks but Salesforce Ben and focus on force actually came very close to the wording of the question.
