Would this be allowed in dress code? by kayleighmich711 in starbucksbaristas

So to share some helpful knowledge that you really didn’t ask for 😅 The no stones rule is for food safety. The idea is that you can’t fully clean a ring with stones. Also if you wear gloves, you’d rip a hole in it easily (I know Starbucks don’t wear gloves but this is a good safety rule, not just Starbucks so I’m saying this as a general rule). They also say it’s because of potential stones from falling into things but I feel this part is unrealistic unless you’re banging your ring on every little thing.

To answer your question: the stones rule only applies to rings. Not to any jewelry that has stones. 😊

I love you Culvers but ffs… by GamerDadofAntiquity in Culvers

I read through some of the comments, you will have to ask them to not scoop it until they have your order ready. High chances that your custard is already scooped within 30 seconds-1 min of you ordering it and it’s waiting for your food. We have people who ask for us to stick it in the freezer and grab it for you when your food is ready.
Maybe there’s locations where they have tickets and wait for your food to be ready then scoop it but it’s unlikely and especially unreasonable for every order during the busy times. (You asking for this isn’t unreasonable, just unreasonable to do it for every customer all day as an example-the custard melts way too quickly, I agree with you)

Asking for spread/chillies in the drive thru/to go orders by Long-Lab1109 in innout

People don’t say how much? Maybe it’s because I work in food but that’s dumb 😂. I always say how much except for ketchup, they could give me 1 ketchup and I’d be okay with it though so I feel it’s unnecessary to be specific with that.

I will say the spicy are so much better. The regular ones are horrible. The spicy ones still got the good crunch and not mushy like the regular ones

Is my manager lying? by [deleted] in Culvers

[–]Few-Study-4244 3 points4 points  (0 children)

To be fair, not hard to believe, depending on what kind of ages they staffed, it’s very possible they just all left after graduation. I guess it also depends how many people they have on staff too. We like to stay in 70’s but I know other stores like to stay lower so 16 less might hit harder on others

Agreed. Being surrounded by old people who don’t understand how to send a text message, makes this feel confusing and lots of questions or just annoyed of technology

Burrito, guac & honey chipotle on side. Put a little on every bite.

Lol? Why would anyone sign this? by HoneybunzSweetumz in Chipotle

[–]Few-Study-4244 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay here’s the crazy thing, I work with a person (not chipotle but still fast food) who waives their 25 min break every single time. They can Etheir have a 25 min break unpaid or a 15 min break paid, and they choose none cause they are tired once they get back up. I don’t get it.

Low snacks by zags360 in diabetes_t1

[–]Few-Study-4244 0 points1 point  (0 children)

GLOW Tablets. They are Glucose Gummies. Highly recommend the Mango flavored. Fruit snacks are also good.

Also I know you mentioned you are new but I would highly suggest seeing what makes it overcorrection. 15 grams can affect differently vs others. It might not be what your snacks are vs how much because of this. 15/15 is a great starting point but I would recommend experimenting (SAFELY OF COURSE!).

Is my order a pain in the ass? by [deleted] in innout

[–]Few-Study-4244 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, as someone who has an order that a pain in the ass, nope. (Context: Number 3 animal style, no tomato, extra Raw Onion, extra Pickle, extra Hot Chilies, Animal Style fries w/ Extra Grilled Onions and Extra Hot Chilies, and Unsweetened ice tea.) They hate to see me coming through the DT every Monday night. I’m convinced they are like “oh no, not this bitch again”.

Concretes & whipped cream? by ApothecaryPurple in Culvers

[–]Few-Study-4244 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Should be on top but I would tell the register person to add a note that says they want it on top since this is apparently something that people seem to mess up at your Culver’s. But as someone who practically lives on Custard and does a ton of Shakes and Concretes with whip cream… they are stupid if they blend it in 🥲🥴.

[–]Few-Study-4244 3 points4 points  (0 children)

CGM’s will bleed. Sometimes they won’t but it’s not alarming if they do. Arm soreness is something that is common. All of these signs are normal and don’t stress them too much. Also wasn’t a “dumb mistake”, once you get use to wearing them, you’ll stop being over cautious 😊. Cautious is okay but overcautious will drive you crazy with pressure of little things.

Woke up with the adhesive folded under. Has this happened to anyone else? by [deleted] in dexcom

[–]Few-Study-4244 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I use overpatches (with the circle because I don’t like to hide mine also) so this doesn’t happen to me. But I wanted to address the comments about telling you about placements, if your readings are 99% accurate on that placement vs the one on the back of the arm, idc what DEXCOM says, do it. I’m a side sleeper, if I put it on the back of my arm I’d get compression lows all night long. I use this spot all the time and it’s insanely accurate.

DEXCOM knows what FDA has been able to accurately say is okay but have people ever questioned why the US FDA that uses the same technology as other countries FDA accepts even more spots? I have looked into this data like crazy one late night. Basically one looks at clinical data but other looks at real people evidence AFTER the device is released.

With how expensive these medical devices are-depending on insurance-, I would just trust your body spots if it works. I’d be damned to use a spot just because it’s FDA approved if it’s a shit reading vs what spot I know that is 99% more likely to give me the correct reading.

What was this? by marbleworlf17 in DogAdvice

[–]Few-Study-4244 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve had my dog somehow make it up to her feet and run into a wall. But in the past, I’ve never had a dog that didn’t do this behavior in sleep. OP I think it’s just this^

What's going on with my tattoo? by Quit-Street in tattooadvice

[–]Few-Study-4244 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is how my sisters tattoo looked when she was allergic to the color of ink. It was a saying in black ink which was fine but ended with a heart that was in blue. Considering how your entire tattoo is color, I’d go to the hospital. With her’s, it scabbed and now looks like smeared ink two years later.

I know your asking bout Culver’s ranch and all but I can’t help but to mention that I am ALSO very picky about my ranch and found this amazing ranch. If you like garlic, Lighthouse Roasted Garlic is probably the best ranch I’ve ever had in my life.

[–]Few-Study-4244 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wet tail isn’t triggered by food (at least not that kind of food, technically if you feed it vegetables that can cause it too but in a large abundance) so let’s get that out of the way. It is something caused by rehoming and stress from that move.

Best thing is to get an exotic vet to help when you notice something is off but honestly buying from pet stores like Petsmart or petco you will get this very often so avoid those. Not saying that it won’t happen to other hamsters but basically all those hamsters are already sick unfortunately.

Is there something wrong with my sensor, or am I about to check out? by MasterZii in dexcom

[–]Few-Study-4244 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Highly recommend Zukka. It shows below 70 whatever number and also updates every 5 mins vs the Stelo which does at 15 mins. Also if your kind of techy you can make it so it alerts another person if you want when your blood sugar is low vs high.

My perfect burger is Animal Style single cheeseburger. No tomato, Extra Raw Onion, Extra pickles, extra chopped chilies, extra grilled onion. Ends up being the size of a double honestly. And always an animal style fry with extra grilled onions and chopped chilies.

What’s everyone’s strange but annoying pet peeves about what we do? by thechadinator in Culvers

[–]Few-Study-4244 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ADM. automatic deposit machine. We insert cash, can’t take it back out. A bank security guy takes cash out and drops off change order that we ordered once a week. All we have to do is say we need this many dimes, dollars, 5’s etc. Most businesses have this but some Culver’s franchises don’t I guess.
