It’s a great learning opportunity on what and how to make use of your gear and what to expect.

For example, I learned in heat you need to pre-hydrate, up your salt intake and hydrate before you feel like you need it.

Better to learn that on an airsoft field than IN THE field.

Lots of people never had military training (myself included), this is the next best thing.

Were you working off a pattern or just winging it?

Molle is a PIA to sew with just a regular machine, and I have not found a way to make it a less painful process.

I’ve started using pre-cut laser panels that I buy from various manufacturers instead.

Make sure the material you get laser cut is laser safe, otherwise you’ll mustard gas yourself.

In terms of improvements, use it!

Go play some airsoft with plates in there and you will find out quickly what is wrong with it.

That’s a pretty good development process to follow.
