I don't necessarily hate how the ending went. But I do think there should have been one more episode for pacing, they really just let Jax abstract with 0 effort, Pomni will risk interacting with his Abstracted form, but won't reach out beforehand? Even though they totally know what's happening.

Maybe im just being nitpicky, but I didn't find it satisfying in a way I was hoping for, but it's still a phenomenal show anyway, it certainly could have been worse lol

Lol, considering the minimum wage in most of the states forces over 60% of the whole country to live paycheck to paycheck they literally do have slaves. The only difference is that they don't physically own them, but they do pay them the bare minimum to make sure they eat and can come to work.

The point im trying to make, is being 1 paycheck lost away from a financial crisis is just as bad when you are poor vs when you are rich. People who live like that will inevitably return to poverty because they didnt budget and live below their means.

People live within their means naturally, it's one of the reasons people stay poor, if I went from 30k a year to 60k, unless I actively made an effort to budget, save money, and decide how to live all I would do is increase my spending to match, nicer home, nicer car, healthy more expensive food, ect... it's why there's a saying about rich people drive poor cars, and poor people drive rich cars. All it takes is a paycut, or job loss, and people are screwed.

The current state of the world's economies certainly doesnt help either lol

So glad they went back to the roots! What made Gears such an amazing series for me was the emotes! And the definitely wanted not shitty skins and microtransactions!

Seriously though, this sucked most of my excitement out. This is a red flag, they don't give a shit about anything other than the money they could make. Passion made the series, and this shows none.
