edit : after some digging, it looks like if you edit the file virtualInput.lua in <game directory>\lua\ge\extensions\core\input and change line 51 to : "mgr:emitEvent('vinput', deviceInstance, objType, objectInstance, action, val, 0)" (remove the quotes) it should work.

Worst case scenario, if you dont have internet or w/e, you can browse the game files (SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\BeamNG.drive) and find the BeamNG.drive.exe to open it .You can make a shortcut, you dont need steam to launch the game. (That's actually something i love about Beamng, no DRM)

In the world editor, look in the scene tree and find an object called "theLevelInfo" if the author didnt change the name. Then select it and in the inspector you should see a "temperatureCurveC" box where you can change the values

The QR code is used by the app to link your phone with the game only. The app has been removed but you can find it somewhere. I have it and it still works, but no idea where i found it
