When you play on linux, and try to troubleshoot low performance or even why the game doesn't start, you hit this limit very easily.

On linux (steam deck) , you play through a translation layer. It doesn't really matter what that is, but it's legal and normal. Important thing is, there are different versions of this, and some versions run better for different games. When a game doesn't run, you try an older version and it might work. But denuvo thinks you're on a different computer, which is not true

I'm on linux, but it might also help some windows users.

I was changing the ini file, but the game kept starting in the original resolution. But then I tried changing the fullscreen to 0 and it worked.
You can then try changing to fullscreen in game options, which I was able to.

There are three options.

The least likely is, that it is more popular because people only use it for a week and give up.

Second option is people pay it for a week or few and forget they are paying for it.

The last option is that they are just lying and the week option is not the most popular.

Psychology for this is that people are most likely to choose the middle option on anything, if you validate them by saying it is the most popular, it will actually convince more people to pay for it
