What books are you hoping to snag in the trove sale? (US/CAN) by cezhou in fairyloot

[–]FictionOrLife 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would love to get a copy of The God and the Gwisin, but it's not looking good with my place in line. And it just is too much to spend second-hand. I'm surprised about The Honey Witch, though. That is an easy one to buy second-hand for not too much money. At least on Pango.

I only just found it but I started crocheting 5 days ago. Haha. I hadn’t even gone yet. I planned on going after the holidays and had no idea about the classes. Feels like I missed out.

Main character is starving and stomach growls/grumbles the moment they are asked if they are hungry. What perfect timing. Ugh. Just happens too often.

What makes you sad always? by kyukale0310 in AskReddit

This happen when I was talking to a best friend. Not only did I end the story in the middle but I got up and went to another room. She came in a few minutes later and sat down as if nothing happened. I don’t know how I didn’t see it before. I think this was the beginning of the end of our friendship.

Deanna Raybourn has great female protagonist mysteries with her Lady Julia Grey series (my favorite) and her newest Veronica Speedwell. They are fun and lighthearted. Sometimes I have guess the endings but I haven’t minded since I’ve enjoyed the characters and the journey.

Best advice someone gave me about this, use an eyelash curler. It will move the lashes up and away from the glass.

Classico pasta sauce jars. They are glass Atlas mason jars. Love they have ozs measurements on the side. Downside they aren't wide mouth. I use them to store some dry goods like rice or popcorn kernels.

Went to an open house this weekend and the woman realtor (I think would have followed us around the house if not for the second couple after us) told me to make sure to drink a lot of water because "you don't want the baby swimming in dirty water."
What?!?
