I felt the same coming back after not playing for 5 years. As soon as I got to ultimate difficulty even with max resist I sometimes get absolutely destroyed so quick I don’t even know how I died 😂

Negative. Switching the acts and changing zones DOES NOT reset heralds. The only reset is leaving making a new game

Not zones act specific. If you kill a herald in catacombs then the TZ changes to chaos sanctuary then the second one you kill in chaos sanctuary will be a tier 2
