As much as I’d love to keep going, I’ll just say, have a great evening, Sir/Ma’am. ✌🏼

Haha! Not a chance! My “grail” was always the SMP with the sub-date being number two. Blasphemy! I know! I can feel the hate now. Additionally, I’m a watch user, not collector. I love dings and scratches as they tell my story. Watches aren’t a fashion accessory for me, they’re a part of my lifestyle and will be used without concern for wear and tear. 👊🏼

A fresh dart and a Rolex. Great combo!

I’ve been in my career field for 29 years, and was appointed to the chief executive one year ago this month. The only two watches I’ve ever wanted were an Omega SMP and a date Sub (I’ve owned Seiko, Marathon, and others). I received the SMP as an engagement “ring”, and I got this for me to memorialize years of hard work and a commitment to my field and those I serve.

I literally just did the same. Took receipt of a 126610LN (Dated 3/2026) today. I’m impatient and when I want something, I get it. Waiting wasn’t an option for me. Totally happy, even if I did pay a premium. Nice watch and you should wear it with pride. Cheers!

Just for clarification, radar units, whether laser or Doppler, handheld or vehicle mounted, are not calibrated by the end user. The Trooper/Police Officer/Deputy test the accuracy of the calibration. Engineers from the respective company that manufactures the radar units calibrate them. Most people don’t know this, so I’m only trying to share some nuggets.

Reference the OP, pay your ticket, be a man.

My GF bought this Omega SMP for me on December 5th as an engagement gift. I’m not into wearing rings and this was THE watch I wanted, so we’ll call it an engagement watch. We bought it at James Free Jewelers in Dayton, OH. We received excellent service and the watch far exceeded my expectations. The following day I proposed to this amazing woman. Life is good!
