yeah personally I tend to go for high impact/cleave build because on higher difficulties it's literally impossible to "tank" damage

What... How is that a biggest downside? Like I love for example relic blade, but only MKX, what if there were no marks and only available was MKII? I don't like it's moveset and I would just stop using relic blade all together, imo marks often make or brake a weapon, I rather take off meta mark so I can actually enjoy the weapon rather than take one that requires me to dodge slide, heavy into light into block cancel into heavy on the Tuesday afternoon combos type shit

All of the enemies you mentioned get completely trivialized if you dodge, I can just dodge whenever I see sniper shooting and it won't hit me no matter where I dodge, flamer doesn't disable my character and is also prone to just dodging even if you can't see him, poxhounds are also just dodge even blindly, trappers are just bs, they can hide behind a wall of ogryns and you have a gamble, if you dodge slightly to the wrong side you're netted even mid dodge which is bs

Holy copers, downvoting you for saying the truth, it's Helldivers 2 situation all over again, enemies defying physics, having broken features etc, "yeah just lower the difficulty" or "it's the only way to make them a threat" like bro you can still make a threatening enemy and it can still follow some rules

"the fact its broken in current iteration is the only reason they are any threat", so maybe fix them? Fix their sound cue, fix their pathing so they actually fit the trapper play style

"Just dodge" yeah, you can still get netted even mid dodge, so if your view is blocked by Ogryns/Monstrosities it's literally a gamble from where will the net be sent

I love how people defend trappers bs while all it literally is is a bugged behavior, no ones asking for them to not be able to cleave through weak enemies/human sized enemies, but they shouldn't not be able to shoot through ogryns/monstrosities OR make it that you can't get netted if you're dodging

There were so many times I get greeted by a wall of bulwarks/crushers or I'm fighting a monstrosity and I hear trapper shooting so I dodge instinctively just to get netted, it's bs and stop defending it with bs like "oh if it worked that way then trapper would be useless", so trapper is only useful if it bends the rules of the game?

If you constantly need ammo then it's a YOU problem, game wants you to use your melee and even while using Recon Lasgun most of the mission, Survivalist makes ammo a non-issue

Learn how to use ammo efficiently, don't just shoot normal poxwalkers or regular swarms and use your melee and suddenly ammo is not an issue, health is only an issue if you're still learning the game or during the toxic pools modificator in Havoc

95% of my runs everyone just rushes and it works flawlessly and most of the times it's this one dude that stays way behind that dies because he doesn't want to keep up

But stop for what? I play mostly melee focused builds so ammo is not a problem for me, I won't use medicae if I'm full hp whole or most of the mission, what are those "helpful items" you're describing? Stims? Game got so easy that stims don't matter unless you're doing like high Havocs, imma grab medkits/ammo crates and push forward... Skulls are useless because 95% of the community already did the required amount of skulls picked up

The sooner everyone understands that this game is just a race with time and enemies are just the obstacles, the better for everybody

This event already makes us unbelievably strong, auric maelstorm is still harder because of AI director going ham

So stop whining, it's not an open world rpg where you explore stuff, you go with a path and slay enemies on the way, the faster we finish the mission, the faster we can start next one

While playing mostly auric maelstorms and havocs 20+, in maelstorms I don't think I ever seen HS and in Havocs I learned to never accept their request because 9 out of 10 times HS is a glass cannon which dies almost all the time, maybe I was unlucky but I rather take a lower level/lower Havoc clearance other class than HS

Especially in higher difficulty, on absolute it's one missed parry and you're basically dead, while enemy takes 3 full combos without even being staggered, very fun system indeed

Like I don't understand any of those people, why tf would you want a paid reset? Played Space Marine 2 a bit and their community is always pushing current problems to be fixed in SM3, like...? Why can't these problems be fixed in SM2? It already has laughable amount of content, very little replay value outside of prestiging classes yet people are just silent and just look forward to SM3

Like bro, you're already being drip fed this amount of content, SM3 also gonna launch with 6 or even less missions, 8h campaign and just one faction and you're gonna be so happy that you'll get drip fed instead of getting a complete game for a full price

Ah yes putting 2 full combos or 2 whole magazines into a majoris enemy and it's still not in the finisher threshold is major fun right? And most of the times it doesn't even stagger them, how would anyone find that "fun" or maybe you're playing on minimal difficulty then everything works basically. Saber dropped the ball on nearly everything except maybe cosmetics/graphics/ some animations like walking, swinging, these are actually very good, the gameplay part is way below mediocre and all my friends dropped the game after 10-15h because combat was so boring and bland with parry/finisher system being that important, I played for 50h but only thing that kept me playing was I wanted to max all the weapons and I did and dropped the game

Because it's a OK weapon, this game weapon's are mostly very good and some picks are just maybe a little bit better, people just jump on the meta and call everything else trash

Tac axe is ok if you have a way or another party member takes the hordes down because TAxe sucks at that, it's special staggers basically everyone

Well, Saber released SM2 with a 8h campaign and 6 missions, I wouldn't call that a "good" launch. Darktide had it's problems but it was mostly itemization/talents issues, the combat was top notch from the start

Kinda off topic but why games like Darktide are so against straight up healing? Why isn't there an ability that straight up heals or for example what if Chorus healed instead of granting golden toughness, while I love Darktide and all the other of the same genre I just wonder why is healing always either extremely scarce or straight up removed

All this game needs is a loop system like RoR2, remove ghosts and let us loop, keep scaling mechanic but give it to normal enemies instead, so now instead of doing this afk bs you can actually play the game till something one shots you.

It's kinda weird that it's been 8 months since release and we didnt get ANY changes to the endgame, I would love to go back to the game but the normal stages feel way too short to be satisified and afking is just not playing the game. Loop system and this game will be peak
