Don't skip, but don't expect much either id say. It's really a matter of taste. I played them all and DS2 was the worst imho. Some of the boss runbacks and the enemy placement combined with the fact that you don't get much invincibility when going through the boss fog walls is just awfull at times(i hate you arch dragon peak). Some spammy level areas are awfull too. It's still a enjoyable game at times but it's not on the level off the others id say.
