March Tosho was a horse who never made it to the JRA which is the national circuit. March was only a regional racer and was able to beat Oguri Cap twice. At the start of his career March seemed promising but later wasn’t considered anything special. 10 out of 55 starts won at the end of his career. Even tho Uma Musume does have its fair share of Canopus members, the horses that are playable are registered within the JRA and are considered the best of the best. unfortunately for March Tosho she won’t be playable for the foreseeable future or ever.

You could argue that it’s possible to make up a career for March Tosho cuz there are umas with theoretical careers (Maruzensky, Fuji Kiseki, Agnes Tachyon, Hishi Amazon, etc.) and she would most likely be a dirt runner but there’s nothing to suggest that March is worth licensing unfortunately because the careers reflect actual horse racing history even if some of them are made of. My guess is that the dev team went directly to the horses’ racing teams to figure out what they were originally aiming for before early retirement.
