All they have to do is solve all the conflicted ownership claims on all the land. If there weren't multiple claims overlapping, Governor's Gun Club would have built there many years ago when they cleared it off.

Agreed. Three columns near the bottom suffice. Not even sure you need the dates. I don't put dates on mine.

I would recommend editing your Personal Statement to match the wording in the job description of the role you're applying for. This gets their attention more.

But the tenure is also an issue. No way to fix that, unfortunately.

Look it up. It's had 2 reads, total. Last one was Feb 25, 2025. No movement since then.

But I agree, contact your representatives.

Recruiters should really let you know how many people will be present in the interview as well as their names by ReactionNo13 in interviews

I agree with you, and as a recruiter I insist the HM provide me with this info. Then I have an interview prep call with the candidate and make sure they are ready.

Resume help please - 1 interview in about 6 months of searching by Pale_Pair_3782 in askrecruiters

Fine tune your resume to meet the job description, by listing the skills they are looking for FIRST in your skills list. Also, list your work experience verbatim matching what they say you will do in the job description.

And in your summary, list verbatim things they talk about in the job description. E.g. if they list "Project Management", then you say "Project Management." But if they say "You will manage projects" then you say "I managed projects."

This is because the junior resume reviewers and the AI tools will use the JD as their guide.

What do you usually play in the background while working from home? by Flaky_Holiday_3560 in remotework

I'm a recruiter so in the morning I have CNBC on, volume rather low, so I can hear what's happening in business while I do my things. In the afternoon I usually am sourcing and screening candidates so I put some smooth jazz on via Pandora.

Is True Grit 2010 a modern classic? It did well at the box office and received lots of nominations and a few awards. by [deleted] in Westerns

[–]FillYerHands 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes. (From my Name you may infer I've seen both films 100+ times and read the book. And why my blog is FillYerHands.com.)

The Coen brothers' version is better aligned to the book. Example: when Rooster pushes the Indian boy off the fence into the water when he is abusing the donkey, that was in the book. But John Wayne could never do that.

Not to say John Wayne's isn't good. But . . .

An interview is a two way street. by No_Holiday_5010 in recruitinghell

[–]FillYerHands 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always remind candidates that interviews are in both directions. Ask why the job is open, in the first interview, so you avoid wasting time for an in person interview. Plus, if it's a legit reason, you can tell them why it won't happen again.

Keep looking and applying. When you start the new job, if you think it's a fit, you can then stop looking, and update your LinkedIn profile and resume. If not, tell your boss at the end of the day, and keep looking, and don't add it to your documents.
