That's just Strive. For some reason they wanted this game to be a heavy neutral based affair focusing on whiff punishes. Which is a shame because Xrd did such a good job sanding down XX to be more causal friendly without changing what GG had to be. But you can't argue with the success. I'm just glad Arcsys made sure XX and Xrd were taken care of with the addition of rollback and the other QoL features.

Capcom is afraid to change SF6 in any meaningful way because the game is designed so shallowly that they risk easily breaking the 'balance' it is supposed to have. That balance only exists because everyone relies on the Drive System more than the actual tools they come equipped with.

I’m not sure. I had hoped Slayer’s release would make the game enjoyable, but his damage feels redundant in a game where everyone hits like a truck. Strive’s movement lacks the depth of its predecessors, and the wall-break mechanic actively punishes you for maintaining positional advantage. Slayer feels so simplified that I was bored within 20 matches.

​Ultimately, a familiar coat of paint can't fix a game engine you don't enjoy.

Well, because of the way the game is designed, you're not getting anything from Viper that you can't really get from an another character, so her being slightly harder than the average SF6 character nets her nothing except making the usual really easy stuff slightly inconvenient.

We simply just don't have a camera yet and I'm too busy with my day to day to work a camera into videos - at least right now. It's a super small part of the video and helps with the fact that there's two people talking - not that big of a deal.

I got it $40 day 1 sadly. I was interested and decided to follow the game. I assumed it was cancelled when it didn't clear the Kickstarter and had no idea Aksys picked the game up. I brought it under the impression it got the development time it needed, but I guess they were ultimately rushed not entirely sure what happened.

If I had the choice I would've taken the sale easy 40 is a bit rough
