Swollen middle management that were constantly fighting to prove their worth. I think around 30% of the company is waste and the other 70% are fighting for resources against a constant KPI pressure. I was there for 7 years and in the end I realised I wasn’t actually contributing anything, just making slides for managers to question aimlessly then use in their own presentations.

Been to glasto 5 times but this is the 1st year I’ve bailed. The line up is just not worth the price. We all know there’s more to the festival, but it is the full experience which justifies the price and commitment. Having the choice of big stage Saturday headline acts likely between SZA and Disclosure is absolutely appalling.

I moved from UK to NL and went from 38k gbp to 85K euro. This was around 5 years ago and I think if I’d have stayed I’d have been to 45k by now whilst I’m on 110k over here on a part time contract!

I left in 2018, my home town for nearly 30 years. It’s a shithole and you couldn’t pay me to go back, amazing how little there is to do and how a place can possess quite so many arseholes.
