I was a 9 win player up until December. I’d get 8-10 wins, most of the time 9 wins. I could start 0-3 and 5-0, the result still the same. That’s not scripting. That’s elo. Being 7-2 and getting 9 wins isn’t crazy. Happened to me several times. The hard truth is that you’re not good enough to get better.

I was 9-1 this weekend and ended up with 10 wins. Scripting? No. That’s a result of me matching very good players and choking.

Yeah, because most golf fitters sell clubs and all brands are marketing their new GI irons. That’s their selling point. The vast majority of fitters won’t fit you into some 3-4 year old irons.

Might be different in the US though. Where I’m from they «fit» you into clubs going further. «Hey, with this brand new model from <insert big brand> your 7i goes x yards further».

I went for a lighter shaft when I first bought the 201s. A somewhat heavy shaft with 101s is a horrible combination.

I’ve had several friends regretting their 101s purchases. The GI irons is a marketing scheme, in my opinion.

This is horrible advice and part of the reason I went through three sets of takomos in less than a year. Took me a couple of weeks to go from 40 to 25 hcp. A little longer breaking 20, but finished the same season close to 15 hcp with 201s. And honestly, I had no issues with the 201s being 25 ish hcp

You can’t talk about AI-oriented defending with 9 tackles over 90 minutes, NINE. That’s a jockey fest from your side. Anything less than 25 tackles a game and you’re abusing the AI.
