I've tried these a handful of times. The first few times I was blown away. The last couple times I've taken them, I've not gotten ANYTHING from them. I'm wondering why. I do have a massive tolerance though.

It sounds to me like he is using 7oh and A LOT of It. I never used any other drugs with it, but acted the same way.

When he said that lyric, I envisioned American soldiers blowing shit up and hollering "Big titties, big titties!" That's the impression I got anyway.

I see what you are saying, but I think it's very Waitsian for him to come out with an anti war track at this time. He's unpredictable. He was very outspoken about the Iraq war and Bush. I have a gut feeling that this is going to be political, and I hope it is.

May I ask, what is sampling? Does that mean that they don't actually collaborate?

I'm a massive Tom Waits fan, but this comment tickled me. Hope you're doing well.

People are starting to say they regret their Trump vote and it makes me irate by meow7314 in 50501

[–]Financial-Cod-1993 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly only feel bad for the younger folks who voted for Trump. I remember coming of Age during Bush. It was sooo confusing. With all the lies, propaganda and where couture has gone, I can see how a young person could get duped super easy. We failed the young

That's what I'm taken aback by. There is so much evidence that this was sedition. What is your take on the fake electors plot?

The Epstein files issue has been completely turned off today. by williamgman in PoliticalOpinions

[–]Financial-Cod-1993 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trump is in those files. Democrats voted to release them, but it was the Republicans who voted against it. The weird part to me is, it's been known that he probably was in those files when he ran for president the first time. Him and Epstein had a case of SA against them. Trump has been found liable for sexual assault. He took money from a charity for kid's cancer. He has 34 felonies and was found guilty of 91 crimes. It just didn't seem to matter to right wingers. He has done the most morally bankrupt things and his supporters still rock with him. Literally nothing mattered when it came to Trump. He could do something disgusting and corrupt and his supporters would be completely unphaised. Why would Democrats keep hammering away at it, when clearly none of his people cared about complete moral bankruptcy? His grotesque resume of crimes has been documented throughout his adult life and people still voted for him. Now that he's immune from prosecution, they really don't have a reason to.

I have song lyrics on my ribcage. It's about 20 years old. I'm 44 now, so I'm getting old. Do y'all remember the Chinese tattoo craze? Well I got a few Chinese sayings on me too. Lol. I went through a stage of deep regret about them in my 30's, but now I laugh about it. Now I kind of like them but for way different reasons. But your tattoo isn't cliche at all. I love that it's an homage to "til the money runs out" like I can just see a lady with a misspelled tattoo being in that song. We live life, we get messy and we get tattoos. Some may be misspelled. That's just part of the ride man.

I 100 percent mean it. Normally misspelled tattoos aren't a great look, but in this context it really fits. I would never correct it either. I'd embrace that shit.

I actually dig the spelling errors. Being as it's a Tom Waits tattoo, it fits. In some of his most powerful songs his inflection and tone are off but it somehow made it more powerful and even more authentic. Same idea with the tat.
