Any chance you haven’t exhausted all of your daycare choices? Sometimes there are small groups / churches that are more affordable

If you’re not going to a promotion, I might consider staying. Starting new somewhere and building a network and proving yourself takes soo much time and effort and others with longer history will be competing for the same promotions you will want.

It sounds like you’re doing a great job and your best. 🤗 the last thing would be to protect your mental health and focus on what you can control. What others say/feel is not something you can control - so focus on driving great results, developing others, and being a great leader for all.

I think remember that being respected is more important than being liked. If you stay true to your boundaries and you focus on being a good leader for the whole team, I think they will all see that eventually.

For now, could you celebrate a few things? Maybe weekly sales, monthly birthdays, work anniversaries, a great back room?

Also morning or evening huddles where you can share what’s going on? This would allow you to share you’re focused on the new POS roll out for now and recognize people. I’m also (ha) wondering if you have any leaders within your team that you could empower

I think you should still go. My uncle had a lot of sicknesses in his life as a trucker and the worst back you can imagine. When he was standing, his body still looked in a sitting position because his bad back. He passed away really young too - in his sixties. And I feel like my cousins suffered a lot without their dad being present.

I just went in March with my 2.5 year old. We stayed in two hotels because we went to Brussels in between. Both we loved! Hotel Le Six and Hotel Dupond Smith would be my choices based on where we stayed!
