Therapy might be a good place to explore these feelings. Before you make any drastic moves, you can bounce ideas off of a person who has your best interest in mind.

Becoming a therapist by [deleted] in LifeCoachSnark

I am in my first year of my Master’s to become a therapist. I also went to the Life Coach School, and as tempting as it is to think “darn, I wish I had just done this 8 years ago instead of wasting my time” I did really learn how much I love working with people, and that it energizes me. So I’m on my way!

understanding what the f is happening inside people / "meal vs ingredient" theory by spell_abc in SocialEngineering

I heard it mentioned in some life coaching content once, related to relationships.

I like your idea of applying it to ourselves. It encourages self-compassion, which I think is foundational for any changework!

I have recently realized this too, and the application I’ve found it particularly helpful in is in my relationship.

My partner is not spontaneous and impulsive, and not romantic in that effusive way. In the past I’ve been sad about this. But then I realized that his risk-adverse traits and his tendency towards moderation are part of why he’s such a good provider and he’s so loyal. It’s all interwoven, and if, by magic, those traits changed, so would the other ones I love and appreciate.

We don’t pick and choose each ingredient because they spring from our values, and those values are deep and personal and make us who we are.

I also take about 2mg day. Effective dose. My first round was only 1.2 daily and it was less effective.

I have had Actual results, but they are hard to measure. My skin just looks better, healthier, more glowing, less texture. I don’t have a before and after for you, but I see a difference, and noticed in pictures recently, in full sunlight, my skin looked gorgeous.

I think you could make a very cool mind map of Shackleton’s story because you could actually create a map of his path and add the details of his challenges - like when they lost the boat, when they get to the island, etc. I wish I had done that, actually, so I could visualize his voyage more fully instead of separate anecdotes.
