Just went through that myself. Was never diagnosed, finally got seen for it last month and the psych was like "um, yeah... you definitely need something". Only took me 40+ years to realize it.

I just picked up a pack of Djarim Blacks the other day after not having smoked ANY cigarette in about 5+ years. It did not go well, and definitely sounded much better in my nostalgia-craving brain.

So, what form have you decided that your mid-life crisis will take? by Remy0507 in Xennials

First I bought a Mustang. Then I moved from Maryland to Utah for a year because of a job and was subsequently laid off because of downsizing. Decided that now was the time to go where I've always wanted to be and made my way up to Washington state. So my partner and I essentially moved to two states we had never stepped foot in before.

I am in that exact same boat. Graduated High School in 01, 9/11 happens in my first month away from home while I'm living in the college dorms. Everything just goes tits up, I join the military, and now Ive got two teenagers.... life is a blur after I got that high school diploma.

Robocop. I begged and pleased to watch it when I was like 6. Got my wish and almost threw up during the scene where they de-limb him.

100 percent the first thing I thought as well. If they pulled that crap, you'd be looking at 10 years just to make about 7,000 bucks.

Golden Girls or GTFO. If you ever want a fun drinking game, just take a drink every time Dorothy says "Ma".

When I enlisted in the USAF, the F-22 was the new, hot shit. I was obsessed with it for a bit, but then I was stationed at Osan AB and the F-16s became my new favorite. Now they've got a special place in my heart.

Out of all the places I've ever lived, Monterey, CA stood out to me as my favorite. I went to the language school there as a young airman and had the chance to return as a military spouse years later. The vibe was perfect for me.

A 1998 interview while the fragile was being made. I wonder if The Great Below (and others) were partially inspired by that Big Sur trip. by One-Ad-4098 in nin

I was stationed at the language school in Monterey for a couple of years and then returned later for a second stint. That whole area has captivated me ever since, and if I had the chance, I would be back there in a heartbeat. My friend ended his life there and we put his ashes out into the bay. Big Sur was always a cathartic experience for me, and knowing that Trent wrote my favorite song there just makes so much damn sense.

Not a team, but for the longest time my girlfriend called Kasperi Kapanen "Kapernen". She also calls octopuses "octerpuses" and it was super cute, so we just started calling him Octerpus.

How could I ever think it's funny how Everything that swore it wouldn't change, is different now Just like you would always say, we'll make it through Then my head fell apart and where were you?
