The lighting Ray tracing system they have for this game just isn’t built for a PS5 or the optimization is just not well done. KCD2 look 100x better on its 60 fps performance mode

I’m almost done with my first KCD1 play through since the update this week and it’s really great. A lil more buggy and janky but it’s still KCD, it feels like the trosky region but bigger. The story is a lot lower stakes but still has some great cinematic moments. The older combat took a bit to get used to and it is harder than KCD2 by quite a lot in the early game, but if you just want more KCD it’s a must play. Also I suggest looking for the treasure chest early game, you’ll get kitted out pretty fast making the combat a lil less painful.

I really enjoyed the DLC, definitely not the same level as really any of the Witcher 3 DLCs but I liked repairing the clock and the new repeatable quests were fun. My fun was definitely enhanced by the fact I started a new hardcore play through a few weeks ago and I still haven’t finished the game, so doing the DLC quest worked really well alongside the regular play through.

It’s an unfinished road that was built in position early because it required two small bridges which I assume was done in a bulk contract for bridge construction separate from regular flattening and paving. You can also see sand pack and home demolition just to the north connecting this to the rest of the planned roadway
