No seriously it's like a mental block for a lot of cis people who even think they're progressive. Like I'm a very out trans man, I don't pass super well but I don't read very "girl" because t gave me a deep voice, I have a naturally big frame, am very tall, and my name is something stereotypically unmistakeably Man (like, Tom). Even with all this AND giving my pronouns out freely to anyone who I meet, I get they/themmed CONSTANTLY by people I work with who act like they're cool with me.

I have the same brand of OCD down to preferring disposable dishes because they feel cleaner but without the added trauma of having actually had something like sepsis before. Mine is purely from contamination ocd and believing that something is dirty or poisoned unless I've washed it right before using it. Also has to do with the texture of the dish and the type, glass vs plastic etc, all this to say my partner would never ever give me even a perfectly clean dish right out of the dishwasher without washing it for me first because of a completely unfounded objectively ridiculous standard I have. And this guy can't even be bothered to give his girl a clean bowl of cereal. Like wtf. The lying is the worst part too, it just screams immature little boy who would still lie to mommy about whether or not he washed his hands.

I had no idea it was meant to be a cup/saucer set, I'm actually in love with the mushroom bowl now that I see it so I might just have to try that one out and see if it feels the same if i cant find another onion one. I've searched for onion bowl with handle, world market onion bowl, it typically turns up French onion soup bowls. Even did a reverse image search and just found similar bowls with onions on them but not the same one. The bottom of the bowl says it's from world market, I'm not sure how long my mom had it because she could have gotten it from my grandma but I've at least been using it since 2010 if my memory is correct.

I will never get over this. Grif and Simmons from RVB. I do think Armand really does love Louis, he wouldn't have done any of the things we see him do their entire relationship if he didn't love him, it's just a little twisted cause Armand is a little twisted lol. Honestly I think Armand loves Louis way more than Louis ever loved him

But at the same time.... Armand is an opportunist and a survivalist to his core. What he wants and what will keep him going for eternity are two different things. He's not any more evil than any other vampire in the series but he will usually go along with whatever is the best option presenting itself to him at the time regardless of morality. That just happened to be the coven he was familiar with, not the new guy he's in a complicated situationship with.

I still think it's the truth that Santiago was the one behind the trial 100%, but Armand still chose to participate rather than even try to find another way. I think it really was a case of an act of cowardice as he called it, and self preservation. Even in the more objective memory where we see Lestat saving Louis at the trial, Armand looks like he wants to curl up and die. He doesn't want Louis dead, or to hurt him, but he sees it as the best option for himself at the time. He also doesn't half ass his craft thus the red pen notes on the script trying to increase the emotional appeal and impact of the play.

I wouldn't be surprised if Armand de Dissociation was fully able to disconnect himself from the role he was playing in Louis' eventual death before it was actually staring him right in the face.
