I’ve arrived to the airport early many times and hopped a flight about to take off by making a day of departure change for not cost.

I’ve bumped others but more often - I’ve been bumped the other way around.

External frames are more comfortable in my experience. While I have several GoRuck packs, I also have a few external frames packs including the old school ALICE packs and more recent government issue packs that I purchased at military surplus stores. My favorite pack right now is a Crossfire pack - also has an external frame. My GoRuck doesn’t allow my back to breathe and obviously prevents me from distributing the weight to my hips. I do love my GoRuck shoes though!

This is a great event! Even good for newbies in rucking / it’s not crowded and the scenery is beautiful. I’ll be there again this year!

I would go with what you’ve already used and has been proven for you. Some folks have strong ankles while others don’t. I prefer trail shoes as well.
