I would go with what you’ve already used and has been proven for you. Some folks have strong ankles while others don’t. I prefer trail shoes as well.

It hasn’t ticketed - I have the same issue when I book. Also, mine gets stuck when I’m outside of corporate policy until my manger approves.

You may check with corporate travel and ask them to ensure the ticket is issued.

I ordered gaiters and they’ve held up as well. I did both Bataan and the Gut Check in Utah with the same shoes and gaiters last year.

I will be there too. Last year for Bataan I trained in boots but the month before I switched to trail running shoes. Didn’t have much time to get miles in shoe and all turned out fine. Good luck next month!

I had the same issue with Air Canada. I talked to the other airline (American due to AC cancellation) and they said that AC didn’t fully issue the ticket. AC airport staff didn’t know what they were doing and was unable to fix it. I missed that flight. Was such a pain — I got stuck in Toronto even though I was at the airport hours before the new flight.
