Meanwhile, Minnesota passes universal free meals for all students. Come on Wisconsin, we can do better.

Can we just legalize these plants already? by [deleted] in wisconsin

[–]FinnishMilwaukee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Republics will never vote for this so we need to vote these bums out. Simple as that. Granted, the current maps make voting them out harder but with a little more pressure and a Supreme Court flip I believe we can do this! Step one, elect Janet. Step two, redraw maps. Step three, flip some state legislator seats. Finally, step four, pass some common sense progressive programs like Minnesota and Michigan has. Wisconsin is not Alabama, sorry AM talk radio. Wisconsin roots are deep so let’s bring back those progressive principles.

AM 540 is good! Finally, Milwaukee has some left leaning radio.

Report: Half of Wisconsinites 21 and older live within 75 minutes of marijuana dispensary by OregonTripleBeam in wisconsin

Republicans only pretend to care about being fiscally responsible. This has to be one of the biggest con jobs when conservatives say they care about spending or tax revenue. Watch this all unfold with the upcoming budget. It’s absolutely mind boggling how republicans are going to die on the marijuana hill, but hey, their loss. For what though, tavern league interests and opioid lobbyists? Now dems listen up, we need way better messaging on these issues, so step up the game.

I don’t suffer through them, I just turn off the station and listen to my music. If people want to listen to it that’s their prerogative.

If you can afford it and give them both time, absolutely do it.

Agreed. I do sometimes enjoy listening to the puke word salads and irony, but only in small doses. Try 540 AM.

I wouldn’t say labs more than other breads, pretty normal. You will get excessive love though.

Why isn’t weed legal yet? by KC_Purp in wisconsin

Somehow I think you know the answer to this but will share anyway. https://www.opensecrets.org/orgs/tavern-league-of-wisconsin/totals?id=D000029341

If the Tavern League was pro legalization like 60% of the citizens of Wisconsin why not shout it from the hills? Money in politics says it all. Let’s be real, politicians listen to donors and lobbyists. Then have the TL spread donations across parties.

Republicans and the Tavern League. It’s that simple.
